What are some games where you can just drive around in a big, comfy open world?
I'm considering buying The Crew just for this.

The game you just posted.
Also the Euro truck simulators and train simulators.
Flight simitators if you have time to kill.
Become a trucker if you don't have any goals in life.
Life.
>train simulators.
I really want to play a good train simulator but there are literally no good ones on the market. TS17 is fucking daylight robbery with its DLC bullshit.
I'd say GTAV is pretty comfy to drive around. The cars are a big part of the game and I spent a lot of time just trying them all out, tuning, driving to different locations, finding hidden paths and whatnot. Most cars are clearly inspired by real-life car models, too.
FUEL is also probably good for this, as the world is quite large. Sadly, it's hard to get your hands on it (not sold anymore...?) and it requires GfWL...
I have FUEL. I don't really like it, the map is bland and featureless.
GTA5
San andreas
gta's maps are far more interesting and nuanced than any dedicated racing game
Yeah, the DLC is there for autists who want to buy their special, favourite train to play with and nothing else
It's not a collection you just HAVE to have installed to make the game good
The crew
Forza Horizon 3
GTA 5
Burnout Paradise
Check out Driver san francisco. Plays really similar to the crew. The story basically has you in a coma for the entire game. Easy to pirate.
I got the crew for free when they were giving it away. Its a fun game but I dont know if I would pay more than £5 for it.
GTA V
The Crew is allright
ETS2 is top comfy, somehow
Forza Horizon should also be good
the 2015's NFS can be allright for comfy if you get yourself to learn to drive in this game, cause the physics are pretty shit
Don't comfy in GTA, its bland
FUEL is extremely bland, no good
Burnout Paradise is a top game but Im not sure if its comfy enough
just go drive irl?
or maybe you cant because you are too young?
I'm personally terrified of driving, but that's mostly because my parents will want me to drive my little brother around once they realize I can drive. I know that if I ever got in an accident and killed my brother, I would drink a 40oz of whiskey and throw myself off of a building.
I don't have a car. And I lack the confidence to drive. I do have a licence, though
I used to hate driving because I had a POS car that drove terrribly.
Finally saved enough money to buy myself a brand new truck and I love driving.
Put on some good music or podcast and just cruise. Through a forest or mountain is maximum comfy.
Test Drive Unlimited( the first, dunno about the other game)
Crew has a really good interior view, and is very comfy to drive around the world at night. Get american truck simulator too.
>GTA V
>Drive five minutes and you've seen the whole map
import tuner challenge
>posting lies just to be a contrarian
shame on you
He's right, though. The map in GTAV is too small for this purpose. Even driving at the 60MPH speed limit takes you around the perimeter of the island in 15 minutes.
>Sup Forums is so underage they can't just sit in their car and go for a drive
Holy fuck this place is worse than reddit.
>dude you want a milsim? just join the army lmao
>dude you want a flight sim? just learn to fly and buy a plane lmao
>dude you want a train sim? just become a train engineer lmao
plus I know how to drive
I was about to suggest My Summer Car but the map feels way too small and there isn't much to do. Arma on the other hand is pretty comfy, especially Cold War Assault with the FDF mod.
This is an 18+ website kiddo and if you can't see how retarded your argument is, I certainly won't tell you.
I'm 19 and judging by the way construct your posts I can tell your probably younger than me
Also my argument is infallible and you just can't find any holes in it
not him but are you sure comparing a car to a military vehicle or plane is the best idea?
FFXV
Burnout Paradise
Join an online lobby and just fuck around, spent more time doing that than actually racing.
friendly reminder that people that are trying to get their pilots license do in fact play flight simulators when they're home.
FUEL
Farming simulator 17, the big tractors are comfy. Just wish the online was better.
>very comfy to drive around the world at night
It would be if the headlights weren't so actively hostile to your visibility. During cloudy weather it's fucking impossible to drive anywhere that isn't fully lit up by street lights.
...
The original Mafia has a somewhat big and varried countryside you can enjoy driving around. Generally slower cars extend the time spent on the road compared to more faster modern-day based games. The only issue is you have to finish the campaign to unlock most of it. It's still ultra comfy.
The comfiness in My Summer Car is questionable, but you have to do a lot of driving around.
Im curious about this as well. I actually really like just following a GPS to a destination. What games have this a lot? I tried Truck Simulator but the truck is a bit too slow and wonky for me
>no driving game with procedurally generated world
Fuck you, really. Good interior view? It has one of the most cancerous interior views ever. It's the main reason why I dropped the game and went over onto FH3.
Isn't that exactly what Jalopy is?
Openttd is the best train simulator and it's free
FUEL, with mods
It's called life.
Jesus Christ why would you buy a videogame to do the exact thing you could do IRL?!
Get out of your mother's basement
>spend 15 dollars on a game
Vs
>spending 50 dollars to fill up your vehicle every 4 hours of driving
Hmmm
Maybe he lives in the city?
ATS > ETS
Fuck off with your bullshit, OP is looking for comfy world
>Get out of your mother's basement
Epic phrase, you sure got him hard I bet your proud of yourself
>that bloom
Is Eurotruck Simulator on VR?
I own the poor man's VR.
I own a tzumi so don't feel that bad
>poor man's VR
Emulating an Oculus Rift with your phone?
Anybody can do that.
Counterpoint: Nobody can do that, because phones can't emulate VR.
ETS2 has vive and oculus support
I play Elite Dangerous and Eurotruck Simulator using my phone as the VR headset.
You have to be 18 to post on this site you fucking newfag piece of shit kill yourself
was talking about PSVR, that thing is collecting some serious dust but at least it gives me an incentive to clean my place weekly
le cancer xddd
and drive where? fuel + insurance + maintenance cost a lot here in europe so i can't afford a car
And did you enjoy your lack of FoV, accurate head tracking and eye strain?
Get decent paying job then you dumbfuck
then fix my depression, neurosis and anxiety and we can talk :*
Yes. So much better than summer cunt car.
You stay up all night watching porn and playing video games. You never get any sunlight. You don't bother trying to socialise with people.
Wonder why you're depressed and have anxiety!
they dont sell it in 40 oz bottles kid
>lack of FoV
Same as using a Rift
>accurate head tracking
My phone was pretty good about this, but once every 15 minutes or so I would recenter it just because. Had a few buttons on my hotas I wasn't using anyway
>eye strain
never had this problem
I'm not doing shit for you. Either get over it and do something or see your way out you useless cunt. Nobody gives a fuck about your crutches or excuses. You don't think othher people have their own shit to deal with? Lazy fuck.
