The battle system is very slow and you need to kill bosses to grow stats.
Other than that, top tier graphics, music and atmosphere.

Oldfags are mad their happy go lucky party members from the first game were raped to death by the Porre Army. CC is a great game with one of the best ost I've ever heard.

Loved it, and I played it in like 2012 or something like that, one of the best OSTs I've heard and the battle system is good for the time, has NG+ and also a way to fast forward it like emulators.

Too bad the story gets too fucking messy towards the end of the game and the "final boss" doesn't feel like one, after Lavos, Sephiroth and Ultimecia and other intense final boss battles on the PS1 I really expected a LOT more.

One of the best JRPGs out there. And arguably the best OST.

Trigger is only 4 years older than Cross. I personally love both games.

I dropped this game twice. I've already given it too many chances.

I couldn't get into Trigger, but I did love Cross.

Its a horrible sequel but its otherwise a great game with a 10/10 artstyle and soundtrack.

Fast foward button is also about the tightest shit you could ever hope for as a new game+ feature.

I don't know what the fuck you're smoking if you think the background art is anything but beautiful. The character art yeah is kind of ugly but it also is a ps1 game, so the in game models barely resemble it and the only time you have to really look at it is in dialog boxes.
