He's been to so many places
He's seen so many faces
But nothing compares to these green and orange brown hills.

>Sonic Advance had sand in a Green Hill Zone before Forces
It really makes you think.
Need source on two right down one.
Sonic Mania and Forces.
Looks alright. Any hub worlds in this game?
iirc thats a beach stage its not called green hill zone
It's called Neo Green Hill Zone and the further you go into the level the more Green Hill-esque it gets.
Here, have the image labeled.
>sand
Is that really what the shit in Forces is supposed to be?
Sonic 3D Blast also had a Green Hill ripoff.
youtu.be
This is the best Green Hill Zone, and it has the best music. Prove me wrong.
The song in Utopia is so comfy.
Sunset Hill's theme was better IMO.
Yeah a few but none that connect the stages, its because the stages are modular
underrated
Why are people getting upset about Green HIll appearing now? It's always referenced one way or another, it's Sonic's World 1-1. And if a Sonic game doesn't start off with Green Hill there's usually the intro level looking like it anyway. Just seems like a pointless complaint.
Also if you forgot to include Sunset Hill from Advance 3, the beginning level I can't remember from 3D Blast, Chaotix's, Seaside Hill from Heroes, the first track from Sonic R, and probably some other things I'm not remembering.
Mania's GHZ looks top comfy. I want to hang out in those caves.
It's laziness on Sega's part. Forces' GHZ uses nearly the same assets as Generations' GHZ except now there's sand instead of water. They didn't even bother to make it look ruined either.
>those textures
Looks pretty ruined to me.
Don't really think it's fair to include the Green Hill Zone from SA2 as that was a bonus level unlocked only after 100% the game but I see your point and I agree.
Also missing Lost World's "Green Hill but on a tube"
Sonic 2 on GG.
I don't mind Green Hill reappearing too much if there's enough new in it, like in Mania I think the new detailed graphics/aesthetics and mechanics are interesting enough for me not to care (especially in Act.2) but Forces just looks like Generations but less natural and with sand, like add more detail of it being in ruin in the foreground & some of the level layout and maybe make it so the sand effects the gameplay with a new but simple mechanic. I'm just bullshitting ideas but it's something, like I get it's not finished yet but shit they really better make it look more interesting soon.
Did anybody actually play Sonic Blast? What system was it for?
Yeah, it was okay
It was fine I guess, nothing great or anything, also it was on the Game Gear.
why no Leaf Forest from Sonic Advance 2 and Sunset Hill from Sonic Advance 3?
