Best controller ever made coming through!
Excuse me, hum
>Worst controller ever made coming through.
Fixed that for you.
it is incorrec
>Bad stick placements
>Bad analog sticks
>No analog triggers
Nope.
but the d-pad is where the analog stick should be
Sonybro please go
>nintendo finally get stick placement right with wii pro controller
>fuck it up immediately after
it's like fucking sony and the vita's beautiful d-pad being abandoned for the ds4
I really loved the Wii U Pro's stick placement, I don't get why they switched it back.
The battery life on that motherfucker is top tier at least
It would be with analog triggers, now it's just an incomplete Xbone controller that feels a bit nicer to hold
LOL epic burn XD
Explain how it is the worst controller ever made.
Go into detail. Elaborate.
>digital triggers
try again
If the triggers were analog it would easily the best but now it's only the second best.
The DUKE always wins
>best controller
>worst d-pad
yeah, naw, fuck off smashfags.
Meh...I'd have to hold one before deciding that. At least they got the stick positions correct this time. The WiiU pro was pretty good but, it was really only great for shooters which I play on PC anyway.
What kind of meme is this? I'm sure ALL of you TOTALLY happen to play a lot of car simulation games where you need analog triggers. Totally, I bet on it.
Let's just ignore the fact that analog triggers are worse for all other genres. No, when it comes to shitting on Nintendo all of us only play games like Assetto Corsa!
>press left or right on dpad
>the game reads the input as up
If it wasn't for this shit it'd be a 10/10 for me. Everything else works fine and it feels good to hold.
What the fuck are you talking about?
Everything except the d-pad is worse than the other two current gen console controllers.
As someone who owns all three consoles, the Xbone Elite controller is the best one.
You best be joking, it's literally superior to the DS4 in every single way
...
CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK
You nintenkiddies can sit this one out
How is the build quality? Looks cheap as fuck.
It may just be that I've been using the DS4 more often now, but I find it more comfortable.
The triggers on Switch feel unnatural to me after 2 gens of analog.
The D-Pad is too sensitive and keeps misreading directions, making it really annoying to play Zelda or Puyo Tetris.
Price
No analog triggers
No headphone port
I still like it but it's not the best controller ever made.
It's pretty sturdy. Holding mine and my DS4 now. About as sturdy as the DS4, just a bit heavier.
sometimes when I'm holding L it uses my item in mario kart
it's fucking stupid
Dpad is waaaay too sensitive
>best 2D controller
Sega Saturn
>best 3D controller
Wii U Pro or Dualshock 3
Please tell me you're also accidentally slamming down in puyo puyo Tetris. I have to use the joycons because I keep slamming my Tetris in the wrong goddamn spot, and I need to slam!
So you never held one at all?
>DS3
brother
Even mk8 would be worlds better with analog controllers. Acceleration control instead of letting go and mashing brake.
Yep, after a few rounds I switched to the joycons because it was doing the fast drops way too often.
>led on a fucking controller
Had to be a pcbro
literally not one person lets go of acceleration to "mash" brake in MK8. No one, ever.
It's the only thing Tetris has over Puyo!
If you can't go fast enough a puyo will set up on you and make you dead.
DS3 is a flimsy feeling piece of shit.
i like it but the fact you have to have BT in your PC to use it and can't use it over usb takes away points. not a reason to dismiss the controller, obviously.
I ordered this one as my first controller for pc
I only used ps1 controller when i was a kid before
what am i in for?
Xbox One S controller is the best ever but the Pro Controller is pretty good.
I can only make my pro controller produce unwanted dpad up inputs if I press both dpad left and dpad right
If I only ever press one of them, regardless of how fast I switch between left and right, I can't make it happen
This. Who thought sharp edges around the sticks was a good idea. DS4 is superior in nearly every way
Why did they give the DS4 like 6 hours of battery life and a giant flashlight on the back of it that can illuminate my entire room at night?
The GameSir G3s is unironically the best controller ever made.
It still ain't worth 70 burgers.
xbone controllers are good in theory but the build quality is terrible
Because sony is retarded. If it didn't have that abysmal battery life or that retarded light that drains the battery, it'd be a perfect controller.
No it wouldn't. It would still be a poorly built piece of shit with a terrible form factor.
And the DS3 is better?
The fuck are you letting go of acceleration for
What would be a perfect control then? Something fucking random and obscure nobody uses, like the Saturn controller?
>terrible form factor
sure
Analog triggers are a must in a modern controller. It doesn't matter what game you play. Analog triggers are objectively better than digital ones.
...
Still a poorly built piece of shit
There's no such thing as a premium controller because all controllers are built for console owners
Nice bait. DS4 and the One S are great controllers.
You literally just got told why they are not better for anything but driving simulators
>that'll be 70 dollars plus tip
I've had mine (pic related) for years now as a PC gamepad. They still make this shit out of Nintendium.
Some people will balk at the octagonal rings around the analog sticks but this design is fucking so goddamn perfect for Tecmo Super Bowl. Those analog sticks are way better than D-pad for a lot of games designed for a D-pad.
Maybe if you have baby hands.
Why would you downgrade to digital triggers? It makes no sense at all. Especially when the Gamecube had analog triggers.
Digital triggers have no travel time and are thus superior for 99% of all genres
>digital triggers
Keep telling yourself that.
Everyone knows analog triggers>digital ones.
That's what everyone parrots because they are clueless and just repeat what they picked up at some point.
Unless all you do is play racing simulations, then no, they are not superior. In fact, they would be inferior.
Maybe if you play the simplest of games. Complex games require analog triggers.
Such as?
It needs 30 dollars in improvements compared to a normal controller because thats how much more expensive it is.
If you enjoy buying new ones every few months
The DS4 and Xbone controller launched at 60 dollars, only 10 dollars less than the Switch Pro
The benefits of the Switch Pro
>40+ hours of battery instead of 6-7 on the DS4
>HD rumble
>good weight to it
>no flashlight that will blind your eyes
>good buttons
I want more Sega Saturn controllers
Why isn't everyone copying it or at least copy the D-pad?
Shooters, racers, rpgs, third person action games, sports games. Pretty much all the genres.
Analog triggers are better than digital triggers 100% of the time.
You forgot to add
>Digital triggers which suck for all modern games.
That alone makes the controller not worth it.
In what world would a shooter want an analog trigger with a travel time over a digital one?
Why would RPGs want that?
Do you still need DS4windows to connect a DS4 using bluetooth
Bayonetta is actively better on WiiU because dodge is on a digital button there though.
We've been over this, digital is superior
1/10 apply yourself
This 200%
wii controller pro is better for mkwii
Digital triggers are SNES and analog triggers are Genesis; digital is clearly superior.
Literally advocating that downgrading to digital is better.
>I bet if they took away the analog sticks and just left a dpad you would still argue the dpad is better.
Dude, think about this.
HD Rumble on Dolphin.
You still haven't told us why I would need analog triggers with a bigger travel time to play RPGs, fps etc.
If you like to take features away that's fine. But other people don't.
lmao, you literally can't answer us
guess that settles it
digital is superior due to no travel time

There's no use in arguing with someone who can't take an objective fact.
>What are breaks
