improve pvp and pve in 1 sentence for each

Remove it.

Remove it.

>remove holinka
>remove ion

world pvp.
reduce the fucking numbers for pve.

Make it like Vanilla

Make it like Vanilla

>Remove it
>Focus solely on five-man content

Make raiding gear OP for PvP

Make raiding difficult like it was on vanilla by removing all walk in the park easy modes

>PvP

Go back to PvP gear, but don't balance around that. It is a minigame anyway

>PvE
Remove Titanforging and Warforging, fix legendary system

I feel like sieging a city should be a thing alongside a rank system with rewards as opposed to just running 20 people into a city to kill the leader for an achievement while 3 people watch you

I can do one sentence for both.

>De-homogenize all of the class' skills.

I should add, don't balance classes around PvP. Give PvPers PvP gear that works well in PvP. I think honor talents are a step in the right direction too.

But don't nerf general abilities because they are OP in PvP

is the world defense channel still broken? if so it would probably be a good idea to fix that

Remove templates, Bring back PvP gear.

I found the global L4G channel worked the same way

A massive shitposting channel

>PvE

Stop being afraid of class complexity, no more 4-button specs

>PvP

Better world PvP incentives and mechanics

But vanilla had the worst PvP and PvE why the fuck would anyone do that

it doesnt have alerts though

I enjoyed killing alliance terrorizing low level towns

>wanna play MMORPG
>Legion is poop
>vanilla private servers are poop

try other mmos

>world PvP incentives

No, this doesn't work.

Vanilla world PvP had no rewards and no incentive other than RED = DEAD.

Every time they tried to force world PvP it backfired. The best world PvP was always unintentional - places like BRM or Isle of Quel'Danas weren't designed with PvP in mind.

Bring back asymmetry and more expansive skill trees (×2)

Lotro and gw2 are dead.

ESO seems clunky as fuck and bow builds aren't viable so fuck that.

>playing Activision Tumblrzzard games

Tbh the arenas in each zone have tons of people in them. (The BlackRook one for example). Plus its a 500 honor reward which is almost as much as a BG win.

hey guys Az here from Heeeel versus Baby Face :D

Vanilla world PvP was shit though

world pvp only

eliminate gold, barter in resources only

pvp

>remove arenas & battlegrounds

pve

>remove group & raid finder

There you go, I just brought life to your MMO

Go away, Holinka.

...

No

Absolute truth

1/10 made me reply

Fuck that shit classes should be balanced around PvP, no one cares about "balance" in PvE "m-muh 4% dps, m-muh charts" GTFO

This would legitimately fix WoW.

Bosses are much harder today than they were in vanilla. Blame DBM for handholding and even then progression isn't instant.

Why are you replying to yourself?

Pvp: Bring back Vanilla
Pve: Is for fags and RPers, who cares.

Obvious samefag is obvious

>this is what retailfags actually believe

Vanilla PvP was shit and no one agrees with you no matter how hard you samefag.

They are harder. Compare the mechanics from current bosses and compare them to vanilla.

...

>This is what vanillababies actually believe

You weren't alive for Vanilla PVP
No they aren't
Vanilla: Had to listen for ques, had to know timing, had to pay attention to other people in the raid
Retail: Join random group, no talking, everyone just spams whatever the fuck they want, "what's your ilvl?! XD"

Vanilla PvE was easy as fuck.
Vanilla PvP wasn't balanced at all.

It's still way more fun than any expansion.

There will be a Warcraft II movie, r-right guiz? ;_;

>You weren't alive for Vanilla PVP
Im not the underage baby with noatalgia for vanilla

Vanilla was boring as fuck, vanilla was the worst WoW has ever been.

Thats more to do with logistics. Mechanically speaking the bosses are harder. And frankly, after years of playing the playerbase knows how to raid much better than when they were in vanilla.

Obvious bait is obvious

PvE; cant even survive outside town without parties
PvP; copy EvE

>improve pvp
Remove all limitations.

>improve pve
Remove all limitations.

It really isn't that hard.

>half of MC's fights are "dispel everything" one-phase clusterfucks
you have no argument, you're a madman going "ONE PLUS ONE EQUALS FIVE" and expecting everyone to take your verbal diarrhea at face value

>Vanilla
Raid bosses have no mechanics, literally just stand there and spam 1 spell, most people just set a macro and afked till the boss was dead

>Retail
Raid bosses have unique mechanics, require coordination and players to think on their toes and awareness of whats going on in the raid.

Vanilla bosses were simplistic, but each one had a gimmick you had to know or else you just wiped the entire raid, every boss in MC had one.

I'm just going to assume that you're baiting or you just never played retail vanilla

You literally just flipped Vanilla and Retail around, shit bait m8

Play a MOBA

Play FFXIV

This, vanilla was shit.

>pvp
Remove stat templates and replace them gear scaling (item levels on gear change to a pvp standard).
>pve
Remove RNG from the loot (no more war / titanforge) and keep RNG classes to 1 spec per class.

Pretty much this.

What was the point of Fist rogues?

>underage
>nostalgic for vanilla

Why not? It was an RPG.

It was the worst possible option though. Less damage than daggers

>if you were FIVE years old when vanilla came out you are allowed to post on Sup Forums

fucking kill me

Play another game. WoW was never good.

>game quality is directly related to how many shitty red circles you have to dodge to collect your loot

wew

how to actually fix :

delete the money printer that is hearthstone so blizzard has to try again

how is legion doing so far?
i stopped playing 6 months ago

Thats the kind of attitude they removed fun spells for.
>Does it do most DPS or help in a raid? TRASH IT

Does it not*

My bad

But current WoW has loads of fun spells, far more than vanilla ever did

>PvP
Remove flying
>PvE
Horizontal progression

Game fixed

>fix pvp
make arena games max last 5-7 mins and actually balance things properly as well as regularly

remove arena completely.

What is vertical progression?

its literally the only skillful part about pvp

Tiered content, gear treadmill, artifact grind

streamlined progress is cancer

>knowing how to herd cattle to do the objective isn't skillful
>doing objectives in bgs isn't skillful

Either buff shamans tremendously or give paladins to either faction.

Unless you mean retail and not vanilla, then fuck I don't know retail is such a clusterfuck I don't think you could improve it in any way.

Not him but arena is shit, "skillful" or not. The game would benefit from being balanced solely around larger scale objective based PvP. RBGs exist but have always taken a backseat to pure deathmatch arena, it's like the opposite of Overwatch.

Oh, so horizontal progression is doing things to do them and get different cool loot, not stronger.

nerf melee. nerf melee

No, melee and ranged is actually balanced right now, mages are just upset that melee classes can actually land a hit on them.

Yes, GW1 is a good example of horizontal progression done well. After you hit the low level cap, you basically just unlock different skill options and cosmetics. All endgame content remained relevant and challenging through expansions.

>GW1 is a good example
Stopped reading there

Remove arenas and all instanced PvP. Make cities capturable and provide incentives/rewards for world PvP.

All balance, both skills and gear, is done entirely around PvE.

>t. brainless turret

the problem with "horizontal" progression is that its more like a pyramid and not actually horizontal. Theres always the one method of progression that is "the best" and will have hundreds of thousands of guides on youtube on how to do it right. There will be complaints about how the devs are "wasting their time" providing alternate forms of progression instead of just compounding on the "best" one.

take for example leveling in wow. You can level through quests, dungeons, grinding, even doing pokemon style pet battles. Several things such as garrison missions give straight up XP to your character, and hell you can even buy a fully leveled character.

but if you do ANYTHING other than just afk and queue up for dungeons you're a FUCKING MORON.

do you even pvp, casters get totally smashed by arms warriors and survival hunters, you can't even kite them or get a distance advantage because all melee has 100000 gap closers

>Remove arenas and all instanced PvP
Fuck off casual

This triggers the hordefag.

i agree that in theory rbgs could be better than arenas, and therefore pvp should be balanced around that. But the issue is that rbgs just turn into pve with enemy players, where the team that does the most damage wins over teams that try to properly cc because setups are easy to shut down with so many classes to support specifically targeted teamates.
Obviously this is also the case with arenas now, since rot and damage cleaves dominate over control comps, but previously this was not always the case.

YOU FUCKED UP

YOU BALANCE AROUND PVP FIRST BECAUSE PVE IS ENTIRELY HAND-CRAFTED AND CONTROLLED.

>Be mage
>Have 5 blinks
>3 ice block
>permenant 90% slow
>5 snares/roots
>Shield
>3 speed boosts
>Multiple instant cast spells
>Kill melee all day long without ever getting hit
Nah gtfo

No More Healers

>be monk
>roll
>you're fucked

no, only the leader and target caller needs awareness. Everyone else can basically go full retard, as long as they know of to play their individual class, and they'll still win if they do as the leaders tell them to

Shadowcraft was the best looking rogue set. Prove me wrong.
