no is not, stamina management is different, combat is more "go back, then attack" instead of " roll, attack, raise shield" no i-frames on rolls, no i-frames on ripostes. Did you even played it? I'd call it inspired by Souls games but too different to be a Souls clone, personally. It's like an odd mix between character action and Souls in my opinion. I think the gameplay is better but some of the bosses are fucking atrocious, especially that vampire lady. Then again, I only played the 2nd beta so maybe its not as bad? I feel like unlike Souls games, the weapon balance was off though. Using heavy slow weapons seemed to put you at a big disadvantage

Certain aspects of the game is inspired by souls I will agree with. Axe/hammer builds means you just can't get greedy with hacking away.
