No, it really isn't. Encouraging people to eat fatty or sugar loaded foods with poor nutritional value is an exceptionally cruel thing to do. Sure, Tubby McLublard might enjoy his pop tarts, but his body is screaming at him to stop. His digestive track is clogged up with his own shit, he's getting no nutrition out of the food he's eating and his quality of life as a whole is going to be much worse.

Sure, people are free to make their own choices, but that doesn't mean that we should be encouraging this kind of self destructive behaviour.
