Bumperino
Super Hang On is better.
!v1 me Need for speed, no quickscopes, and THEN we'll see which game is better, scrub.
>Place within walking distance has this machine
Godly
Oh boy. I hope this thread takes off. Arcades and arcade threads are some of the most comftorable.
That game, specifically the noises the aliens made, scared the shit out of me as a young one.
outrun is ideal
My negro/negriss

Has anyone here ever played Dance Maniax?
I like it a lot it's pretty fun
Never even heard of it. What sets it apart from DDR?
>tfw the arcade I go to has a cab
>tfw I've never actually played it
dunno, I saw like one person ever play it and it looked kind of odd
...
Shiny World the best
Yes! My friend made a complete re-write of the game for use in arcade cabinets that includes the full original songlist and a bunch of new tracks from modern Bemani. It even has profile support which is pretty sick, I know at least a few arcades have it up and running.
That you use your hand instead of your feet
It's kind of like pop'n music but with a dance factor, very fun once you get used to it and you'll catch up fast if you have experience with music games
Alright, I don't agree, but more than fair enough. Outrun 3 when?
Oh... Huh. That sounds pretty interesting
Back off, she's claimed!
Bemani eat your heart out
Goddammit user.
OutRun 3 please ;_;
3,2,1, GO GO GO
Any Initial D arcade
The Star Wars Arcade game that was in 3D was really cool.
I fucking love Pump It Up.
>got addicted to it while working at Chuck E. Cheese's many years ago
>missed it enough to slap together my own budget dance pad at home out of plywood
>works well enough but kinda shitty
>waiting until I can move to a better apartment/house before I go all out and make a real nice double pad with metal and lexan and custom graphics on the buttons
I was bored in class and started to do some research and found an article from about a year or two ago stating that Outrun 3 is on SEGA's radar and is something they def wanna do, but not at the moment. So that's something. I wish the online arcades would come back to like ps4 and xbone. I found out about those after they were shut down and I was quite salty.
The only game that satisfies my fantasy of blasting down a highway at 200mph blasting GOAT Trance
Why not invest in an actual cabinet? Older models like the one you've shown go for relatively cheap, and you can upgrade them to the latest online-enabled versions if you have the money available.
SOMETHING HAS SURVIVED
PIU is shit, DDR is better
You look very retarded while playing the game but if you've been playing music games for a lng time it's something you are surely used to
Well I'll give you points for honesty
...
I find the X arrangement of 5 buttons way, way better than DDR's.
No room for one in the apartment. But I like building stuff and I can already play the entire PIU library in Stepmania so I think I'd still make custom pads even if I had a ton of room to spare.
BANYA
CHANNEL
I haven't seen a HoTD 1 machine in a hot minute
visions of the future.
BanYa had some good tunes but the K-pop stuff was my jam.
u wot mate
Has anyone ever played this? I played it a few times. From what I remember the game itself was kinda shitty, but hot damn the mini-gun was tight as fuck. The barrel spun when you fired aswell.
The fans blowing air on you wowed the fuck out of me as a kid
posting arcade racing perfection
>simcade physics
>huge jumps
>speed shifter with clutch pedal
I learned how to left foot brake thanks to this game
awfully pitiful I can never get the pc port to work with my G27
Wait hold the fucking phone. This game had a clutch? I've never seen one on any racing game in my life AND on this machine. I've seen of few of these and they never had clutches, unless I was too young to comprehend.
Surprised no one posted the unsung hero of arcade games. Has anybody actually seen these around?
I want to say i have? If not, I've seen similar ones, and the snowboarding/skiing ones.
I think only the rock alcatraz edition had it on the original
if you find any rush 2049 cabinet all of those should have a clutch
Smash TV Mother Fucker
ROOOOOLLLIINNNNGGGG STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAART
Last I saw one of these was at a Gameworks. It was pretty busted up though.
What the FUCK. I KNOW the 2049 cabinets I've played on for sure had no 3rd brake pedal (Humor). If I ever see one I'm going to really pay attention. There's no way that I missed the 2049 ones. I played that a lot when it was popular in the arcades.
Excellent. A very Excellent choice. I make sure to always play this if whatever cade I'm in has it. I also play it every time I boot up my ps3
Don't die thread...
Oh my sweet lovely baby.
Hey ross
Splash Wave is such a meme song. Every song is better, ESPECIALLY if you include 2006 C2C.
...
The only game that managed to disrupt Initial D's dominance on the racing scene. So glad an arcade in my area got MT5 cabs.
The one in AZ?
Not a single Time Crisis has been claimed, Hm..
I played a lot of Beasterizer as akid. There was a bowling alley that i went to on the weekends that had it and mvc2 in their arcade, and i spent time back and forth playing each.
>Okay I was gonna rag on you guys for not picking this, but there are some choice picks in this thread.
You guys are alright.
Welcome to the club compadre.
PIU has shit music and five steps are unnecessary, DDR has better music and gameplay. Also i hate Korea and anything about it
youtube.com
>Visit Korea for 2 weeks
>mfw their arcades have bemani machines and Taiko
It's the first time I played beatmania, Pop'N, Reflect Beat, Sound Voltex and Taiko on machines and not on simulators/home games.
It was amazing. I could literally stay there for hours. Taiko is amazing with actual drums.
One last self bump I suppose.
Oh fuck you, I wanted her.
>played this before I knew what Hokuto no Ken was
>it was in an arcade in Mexico almost a decade ago
>machine got removed before I could play it again next visit
>haven't seen it since
I just want to replay it with my current knowledge.
Gauntlet Legends for sure
ACTION
>tfw 30 minutes away from a Robotron 2084 and Defender
Now if I could find myself in front of one of these babies my life would be complete
Played the shit out of this thing at Chuck E Cheeses
Just as you feel the light has faded, someone new comes along and shows you love again
claimed
NOW I'M ANGRY
enclosed cabs are GOAT
...
>mfw the arcades in yakuza 0 have outrun
>simcade physics
>huge jumps
>speed shifter with clutch pedal
Oh you mean Race drivin'/Hard drivin'. Even had to hold the clutch and turn the key to start the car
Claimed
>home version forever never
oops
>five steps are unnecessary
Five steps are more fun.
No arcade is complete without one of these babies. Bust A Move was my shit
>Splash Wave.
I think you mean Risky Ride.
...
Gundam pod
It's on ps3 though.
OP you asshole, it's MY arcadefu.
Are you Mexican?
