What was the last game that thoroughly satisfied you?
What was the last game that thoroughly satisfied you?
My picks from 2016
Nioh.
>mfw i literally got ending D 20 minutes ago
going to do ending C and the rest of the shit i missed in a few days, i need to fucking sleep. so thorougly satisfied with the game its not funny; im kinda glad piratefags are gonna get to play it now - everyone should.
What's the top-right game? Is it that F-Zero like game on the Switch?
Full Throttle Remastered
fuck that last puzzle tho
Top left times 100
Hitman was great
No, its Redout. Incredible game but its just really fucking hard.
Probably Automata
Undertale
Persona 5
Breath of the Wild
I just realized that Ashi is a parallel of Casca and that is NOT GOOD.
>characters who singlehandedly ruined a series
episode 8 was cringe cringe cringe
A lot this year actually.
>Persona 5
>Nioh
>Hollow Knight
>Rain World
Nioh. Reminds me of Ninja Gaiden.
Played Mother 3 over a few months when me and my friends met up together, we were all silent at the end of it. Amazing game.
lol look at this butthurt daughterfag
Persona 5 and nioh
Wonderful 101
I like a lot of games, but few are thoroughly satisfying from beginning to end.
Redout is a blast in VR
DOOM
Persona 5 and Near a Tomato
BotW and Siege. I love Siege so much. Considering how jaded I've become with video games they were a godsend.
>thought A through B was alright. Not amazing, but it did the job.
>tfw Route C's Credits start
>Only 2 episodes left
We're gonna get one more season, right?
Doubtful. It's probably gonna end on a cliffhanger too.
Haven't played many of the past year's major releases but Forza Horizon 3 so far. It runs like complete ass on PC but it's one of the best racing games I've played.
Hopefully a movie or just Direct to Video
Nope, the director really, really wants to put an end to jack once and for all.
Doubtful, Tartakovsky's only reason to do season 5 was to end jack with a bang. So jack dies at the end and ashi carries on his legacy or something like that.
>was to end jack with a bang
Oh it'll be a bang alright. He's gonna fight and kill Aku, using his evil magic to open a portal back in time, but he's going to lose his sword again so he'll be stuck in the past with no sword and can't stop Aku, dooming the future with no one to save them.
I would say Killer is Dead but that game had some issues.
So probably Project X Zone 2.
When I shoved the cartridge of Okamiden up my arse.
Furi.
>Killer is Dead
You got problems
I think they'll defeat Aku, find no way to return to the past. Jack becomes king of the future with Ashi at his side; learns some important lesson, and THEN take the portal that the Guardian was guarding.
OST was damn good, and once I actually got the hang of combat I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Certain enemies had really shitty hitboxes though. Put a damper on things for me.
RedOut
Great game
Gundamn it take your samurai jack threads to a board or whatever website discuss cartoons.
Been meaning to pick up Nier, don't have a ps4. How fucked up is the pc version? I've been hearing it struggles with bugs.
But Jack is going to the junkyard where he fought the Guardian in the next episode. How's that gonna work?
Styx - Shards of Darkness
Axiom Verge
Redout
Persona 5
>tfw no game will be as kino as Lulu...
sweet thing
Persona 5.
...
>Axiom Verge
Really? That good, huh?
Nah, Jack is gonna BTFO of Aku and call upon all his new friends to settle in the ruins of his homeland with Ashi at his empress and forget all about the portal to the past because he finally realize he does have a home; going back in time and defeating Aku there would undermine literally all 5 seasons
...
DD:A and Splatoon. Played them around the same time.
Just replayed ff9 after never seeing the ending as a child. Goddamn that was some satisfying nostalgia and the end is cute as hell. Also, probably my favorite ost of all time. I felt emotionally completed after finally seeing it through to the end after all these years
SIlent Hill 2
...
There's a mod called Fix Automata Resolution that fixes most problems out there. I never ran into any issues with it. There are some known crashes with the 700 series GeForce cards and certain AMD ones that are not addressed.
Rose in the Twilight
I have a question, as someone who has never played NieR. How do you know what type of ending you got? Does it say "Ending C" after it's all done? Can you tell what route to take/ what actions to make to get a different ending while playing the game itself, without reading/watching a guide?
I get games where people say "good/bad ending", but people often give these very specific letters on Sup Forums and it made me wonder.
>Does it say "Ending C" after it's all done?
Yes
>There are shitbags who unironically saw this scene
All you have to do is keep playing through the game. There are joke bad endings that are told through text but those are obviously nonsense endings. The main endings of the game are very obvious.
>achieving his goal would undermine everything so far
Tard
Main endings (A to E) are displayed in the credit roll, you will eventually get to them all just by playing normally, just don't skip the credits in C/D.
Rest of the endings are gag endings, you get them by doing random stupid shit like eating a certain fish or self-destructing on a space station. These endings do not contribute to the main story or overall lore, to get them all you pretty much have to look them up.
I appreciate your input, fellas. May you have a good day.
