To be fair, all of the primal themes in Heavensward were pretty fucking rad.
I actually like Infinity.
Infinity sounds like it was a recycled Alex theme.
That's true enough, I suppose. I do still like it but it was by far the weakest of the HW primal themes, probably because 3.5 in general was just so phoned in.
Ravana a best, but Sephirot and Sophia were pretty damn good too.

but oh man even better if they incorporate some Taiga drama ost too. Knowing, that the game will take full course in its own culture, I hope they' actually use their own actual eastern orchestration and not too much western. Mainly because music Asian historical drama are rare but fucking amazing.

the theme from the trailer and the town(?) music from the benchmark are some of my favorite pieces they've done for the game
although the string instrument part will probably turn into the new idyllshire bagpipes if they overuse it

If they gave you a button to press every day and said it was content to do on down time would you still do that? It's just as useful.
That seems pretty easy to do, so if there's a reward at the end then sure.
Easily the worst theme in the game.
They gave you 2 chests and 450 tomestones a week and you happily played along. Not that different, really.

Raid rewards are upgrades. It's something you do to progress. I don't see a problem. Relics exist solely do pad time, their rewards are outdated on release 95% of the time and there's nothing BUT barfilling there. Plus I can't even remotely pretend doing leveling dungeons for crystals or spamming A1S while overgeared for a whole day is at all engaging.
As for 450 tomestones, that needs to go away too. What began as means of mitigating loot drop RNG quickly became THE main way to gear up for people. It does't make any sense that you should be able to overgear all the current content just by running 2 easy dungeons day to day. Welfare should only go to the current baseline level and that's it, if you want the rest you should have to either grind a lot, really a lot, or do challenging/group stuff. Then there's suddenly space for rewards from actually harder dungeons, then there's space for rewards from shit like Diadem (although hopefully not Diadem as it is) and even 24-men would make more sense than they do now.

I don't really care to be honest. What I'd like to see is making a clear line between raid and tomestone gear but the again everything below midcore and erpers would stop playing since they don't want to raid nor do they want highly inferior gear compared to raiders
Probably the biggest issue with the game right now is that there is no midcore. You're either casual and brainlessly do roulettes/24mans and whien about how little there is in the game, or you're pushing savage. That's it.
When the OST comes out in June.
