Name three things this game must have for you to not trash or shitpost about it for eternity

Name three things this game must have for you to not trash or shitpost about it for eternity.

Fleshed out melee combat

Spears

It doesn't matter how good or bad it is, I'm gonna shitpost about it for eternity either way.

More armor slots. I wont even be made it it goes back to oblivion levels. Just please stop taking them away.

jungles
forests
castles

I was going to list better stealth mechanics more magic abilities and deeper npc interactions

But then I realized modders will put that in the game anyways

Scrolls

more spell variation
all damage spells were almost the same

Guards.
Arrows.
Knees.

Valenwood will never be the setting because walking trees. Todd would never be able to make walking trees and we would get not-sherwood forest.

It's literally going to be medieval fantasy Fallout 4.

1. A
2. New
3. Engine

What I don't get is why people who make these pissy fake images don't use a different emblem than a reworked skyrim one.

NPCs that don't stand around like wooden posts and faces that don't look like they've been carved out of melting wax.

it'll either just be weapon and armor, or it'll work exactly like dark souls and everything else will be a crude rip off of dark souls as well

...

Nah see that's just too much for work for Todd man. As it is now.... It just werks.

Absolutely agree. I stand beside you and am prepared to die, brothers.

/thread

>post yfw is stripped of even MORE rpg elements.

what do you guys think they'll remove next?

Curved. Swords.

it's just gonna look like fallout 4 and you know it

no magic (its gay)
no non-humans (gay)
add guns

Character creation, from now on you play as a male redguard with a voice actor, I'm sure that wont flop like last time!

This. What the fuck happened to boots, pants, gauntlets, pauldron and helmet slots?

Mana and Stamina will be the same bar.

Not remove, but they'll add a feature where you can pay to have quests instantly completed.

>Removing magic
>Removing the best part
I dont understand?

this is an action game moron, keep you RPG shit out of here, nerd.

pay in USD, not septims.

Stamina
it's not like it even fucking does anything in skyrim

Towns. All will be constructed by the player.

Just copy BotW and it'll be better than Skyrim and Oblivion at the very least.

>Melee combat that's actually fun to play
>Magic creation like in Oblivion
>Lesbian Elves

Considering Fallout 4 had clothes you could wear under your armor I will be really dissapointed if they don't add that and a robe you can wear over your armor just like in Morrowind.

begone ye, satan.

BotW is significantly worse than even Morrowind.

Arbitrary mixing and matching of armor pieces would just result in too many clipping issues with how intricate they are these days unless you severely limit what the artists are allowed to do, i.e. make all armor look more or less the same. Look at Bound by Flame if you want to see what mixing and matching armor pieces results in, i.e. 99% glorified texture swaps.

...

...

Skills. It's going to be reduced to only three, Combat Magic and Stealth.

All quests are going to be Radiantâ„¢ which means you will be able to play forever, every player will have a completely different randomly generated experience.

Also the main quest will end after the tutorial because we know players love to ignore it and do optional stuff.

just give me oblivion with witcher 3 cities and graphics. Not every NPC needs to talk. I don't even give a fuck about the combat, allow me to make a mage, archer warrior whatever and do some cool d&d shit with wraiths goblins skeleton bandits and demons.

Bethesda graphics are shit anyway. Some clipping will hardly be noticed amongst the shitty lighting, high res textures directly next to low res textures and the trashy animation, especially if it makes the game more interesting.

More stealtharchers

Stealtharchers until the towers fall and undo reality

DD combat
Oblivion Quests
Strict, limiting classes and serious consequences for actions

>Three skills, combat, stealth and magic
>These skills will also directly correlate to your Health, Stamina and Magicka
>Yes we linked Stamina to stealth, so what? It's just easier okay.
>There are four types of weapons, one handed swords, two handed swords, bows and one handed axes
>We were going to put in two handed axes but engine limitations made it impossible
>The main quest will last OVER THREE HOURS(!)
>There will be millions of possible radiant quests, all of which will involve a stranger running up and asking you to hold something for him
>You will be able to collect an elder scroll from every dungeon you visit
>And yes, you can play as a woman

this, next elder scrolls game will have a generic 'energy' resource also probably cooldowns on all spells

As fucking horrible as it sounds this is actually a possibility after FO4.

Does Fallout 4 have enough mods to be good yet?

Actual cool monsters- Skyrim's bestiary was a fucking joke aside from the dragons and underground shit.

More fleshed out stealth and combat

and what said

Item weight and encumbrance.

No

bring back climbing

LEVITATION

>a UI layout designed for console controllers
>a UI layout designed for console controllers
>a UI layout designed for console controllers

Easier ways for modders to add animations. Porn mods is the only thing tes is good for anyway

Morrowind-style spell creation and enchanting.
No levelling outside of unique enemies.
Higher-tier loot hand-placed and/or only available from appropriate sources.

More diversity. I don't want yet another dude bro white male power fantasy.

Play The Elder Scrolls Online

dont care whats in it, I just hope it becomes a reality so toddposting comes back.

A daily quest hub that focuses around sending "Warriors" to quest while I wait around for 30minutes to 24 real hours in order to receive loot and cash.

interesting combat
some genuine effort gone into quest writing
big open cities

so yeah no way

Oh Jesus Christ it'll have more item crafting and settlement mechanics won't it.

durability, puzzles that will make me stop playing for a few days in frustration, branching dialogue trees

a mod store

Probably not a photoshopped skyrim V underneath Valenwood

Do these people forget that V stands for 5

I'd actually like this to be honest, but only if it was in a more limited capacity than in FO4. Rebuilding Kvatch or Helgen however you like would have been a lot more interesting than just dumping gold into premade houses to "upgrade" them to not be full of spider webs and boxes Like in every 3D TES (can't speak for Hearthfire, though, didn't play it).

Obviously the "another settlement needs your help" setup would be shit also and the most likely course they'd take.

>Help us ForestBorn! The walking trees have been struck motionless by an evil wizard, please save them, you are our only hope!

And I forgot.
Rules that prevent you from just joining any guild.

That will never happen though since that's Todd's core philosophy

I don't mind the settlement building mechanic, it was decent fun in 4. They just need to rework it so they actually serve a purpose and add more depth to the game.

>people say ESO is fixed
>play it
>its exactly the same

everytiem

somebody stop this shit already
it isn't a V

full sex integration

i want my boipucci to be violated by buff argonians repeatedly

Make it either Elsweyr or Black marsh

I doubt that will happen though, it would require Bethseda to actually be creative.

>What is redguard
>What is khajiit
>What is argonian

Yeah, white male power fantasy in a game where you can design your own character to be a black man, a cat or a fucking lizard.

Fuck off

I bet you jerk yourself to crying thinking about the gay ME:Andromeda characters.

>Alternative ways to finish quests or Restrictions based on race or skill checks
>Get rid of the skill tree bullshit
>Enemy variety that actually punishes you for not being prepared or bringing the right equipment

the escalating wars between the various races have began to deplete the worlds supply of wood in the endless need for raw materials to build seige machines, boats and fortifications. The Valen wood recognises a threat greater than any it has known , though it does not know the exact nature of this threat. An emissary is chosen to explore the world and seek answers, the sentient beings will be judged based on the experiences and actions of this emissary.

>Also the main quest will end after the tutorial because we know players love to ignore it and do optional stuff.
After finally sitting down and plowing through the main quest of skyrim this is honestly a positive thing. What a garbage fucking story.

>baby wants metroidvania
nah kill yourself

it's a V superimposed on the imperial dragon symbol because whoever mocked up that valenwood title dealie should be mocked.

correct answers

what are you even talking about?

>when you're going about your life and then you remember skyrim didn't even have stats

>Caves aren't a straight line
>Oblivion tier quests
>Morrowind tier factions with consequences and skill requirements

I'd love a game where combat isn't the entire focus, but I know there's a 0 percent chance that will happen today since "roleplaying" has lost it's meaning to Bethesda

Token minorities. I want real diversity ie no white males/nords.

It has stats. They only cut attributes, skills are still there. Attributes were mostly redundant anyway, the only meaningful thing they did was increase your health, fatigue and stamina pools and that shit is still in Skyrim.

>updated todd posting
>spears and other weapons
>jeremy soule ost

calling it now
>skills completely removed
>only perks now
>2 armor slots
>helmet and body

what i want:
>dd combat
>morrowind exploration, magic and alchemy
>oblivion quests
>gothic 2 tier map design

What are you on fampai Skyrim had a bunch of stats. What it lacked was more than three attributes which was pretty shit but you're probably the type of person who complains about agility in Morrowind and just want to post le fune new begas jpg.

go away todd

Bethseda got a lot of shit for Fallout 4, even by normies

I have hopes they got the message and won't pull that shit again

Explore fight loot.

light RPG elements.

Repeat.

I want at least 50% less quests. I want these less quests to be written properly with characters whom act in a more realistic way. These quests should have more depth. The quests should have real world impacts.

Examples:
>Questline that leads to a small town being burnt down permanently, with only few survivors (which for all I care could be randomly selected) that limp to the nearest town, and the player can talk to them about how they escaped, and possibly even get quests from them. All those in the town dead and every possible quest/story they were involved in is now inaccessible on that save file.

>Moral and deeply philosophical dilemmas, not just "Must kill da bad guy" crap for the 12yo babbies. e.g. Plato's centralized Republic vs Aristotles free society.

>More quests that open up the player to act according to his or her own interests while RPing a certain character type. A.k.a no constant black and white moral choices, provide gray areas to roleplay the selfish but moral, evil but lawful, greedy and reckless etc etc.

Writing keeps getting bad as the newer gens of gamers grow a pair.

The next TES game that comes out will probably be more terrible in my view as a 28 year old, but to the newly turned 15 year olds first big boy RPG, he will see it as a masterpiece cuz he has no reference level.

a vicious cycle that is not good the older, wiser and well traveled one becomes.

But it's true. I would have preferred that rather than remove attributes they made them matter more but it's not like their removal had an enormous impact on game mechanics and it did get rid of the one thing everyone always bitched about, having to manage skill increases so you get that +5.

B-But Todd the action part isn't good either.
