I considered it a few years ago, back when the big names in gaming channels were just starting. Popular but nowhere near they are today. If I was a confident in myself back then as I am now I might have tried. A gaming channel I would make would never take off though. I'd be too hard on myself which would cause me to be inconsistent with uploads. My voice is pretty serious and humor is dry, which doesn't seem to do well on youtube. I had a friend who wanted to do it together but it just be a really shitty version of game grumps or super mega.

Mine started as a gaming channel, but failed. So I made it into a cartoon channel where I review and talk about cartoons. I all of a sudden got a shit ton of views (almost 7k+ each video), and was even close to making money.
My most viewed video even had 22k views.

I just stopped making videos a year ago because I hate editing, looking up information for discussion, and it was just boring in general.
I think if I stuck with it, I could have made something out of it. I'm just so lazy that I couldn't do it.

Yeah I love vidya because it's just something to do in the free time between work. Actually doing it as a job would be terrible and ruin the experience. And I wouldn't want a job where I have to entertain someone, mostly kids since they're the ones that dominate youtube to make money. Fuck that.
