They spent so much the game must be safe and bland to appeal to as many people as possible.

whenever japanese devs have high budgets, they just make western games.

I think western games are generally much better than japanese games.

There are plenty of japanese devs with large budgets you entry tier weeb. Large budgets equal bland shitty games that are made to appeal to the lowest common denominator anyway.
