The story of Lonesome Road (Despite masknigger repeating "muh bear, muh bull" ad nauseam) was about how the courier can't stick to one place and only brings destruction where they go.

So the courier would be phenomenal for New Vegas until such time the courier decides to fuck off for more adventure and then New Vegas gets fucked over by the warring families that House was keeping under control.

New Vegas is a shithole so House is worst timeline, NV is a cancer that needs to be culled, not spread

I don't think there will ever be a Fallout game set anywhere other than America. There's lore reasons for it, but the prime non-lore reason for it is that America had a certain aesthetic in the 40s-50s-early 60s because of the post WW2 boom. Americana from that time period is the fundamental precept for the Fallout universe because it satirizes and celebrates that aesthetic with a contrasting grim image.

Pip-boy is an example of western capitalistic mascots that portray an idealized reality that is incongruent with reality.

The only thing I could think of that could come close to this would be an anime aesthetic for japan but that wouldn't attract the same players who appreciate Americana and would essentially become "Fallout - Weeaboo edition".

I was under the impression that beating a Deathclaw with your fists was nigh impossible due to their high DT and would probably put you out a lot of stims.

I should probably rephrase. There's some situations that it can't take on (from my experience) from stuff like Lonesome Road and the Deathclaw Quarry place, but you can complete the game unarmed just fine.

I could be wrong about the Deathclaws I suppose though.

Thats kinda why one of the main complaints against Lonesome Road is that it injects to much backstory into your character. There are plenty of different characters you could play as, both good and bad who would want to stick around New Vegas.

I dunno if I agree that New Vegas strayed too far from the 50's Americana aesthetic. It seemed like it was still pretty pervasive.

I suppose that a Fallout taking place in Russia could work. I don't know much about Soviet era aesthetics other than the crippling depression, though. I guess someone more knowledgeable with soviet propaganda from that time could do a good job of anthropomorphizing it so that it apes the Americana style with a distinct twist. But it doesn't seem all that likely to me, since the people of the USSR seemed to be a more severe, hardy type and did not have overly cheerful cartoons nor capitalism to sell with cutesy mascots. I don't think China did either at the time.

There's tons of unarmed perks that will fuck a deathclaw in the ass.

Super Slam, Paralyzing Palm, Stone Wall, Purifier, that one that gives you 30%+ swing/punch speed, just to name a few.

I mean if they gang up on you they can rape you pretty quick but if you keep it 3 or less you can utterly demolish them. Also having displacer gloves or Pushy is a nice thing to have when dealing with them too.
