I don't know the name of the region, but I know it was more inland and that they speak a dialect slightly different than standard Croatian, if only in the question words. They use "kai" instead of "što", "ki" instead of "tko", "kadi" instead of "gdje", etc. But beyond that, everything I'm learning online is identical to what they speak.

Yeah, Zagorje, most likely. It's close to Slovenian border, and the dialect itself is close to the Slovenian language.

i played for like 3 glorious hours after buying it and havent touched it sinceim told there is a jumscare level later on. i might save the game for october spooky times because i dont like jumpscares i heard i shouldnt have played as a malkavian first either. i like the clunky combat, its endearing. i like having multiple solutions to problems. i like the atmosphere. i like the- fuck, why havent i played this in months?

No problem. And there's a lot to see here, anywhere you go, really, plus, the food, wine and beer are all very good.

I'm looking forward to fresh seafood and fresh lamb. I remember my dad taking me to Croatian lunches at the park, and they'd have entire pigs and sheep over a fire. Peeling off the skin and eating it was the best.

thanks for being level headed. are there any other mods i need besides the offical patch? is there any cut content that was put back in? i know development was rushed for the game and it shows a bit in the end

i should elaborate on the combat: i like melee. its odd, but i like whacking fuckers with a pipe. seeing the surgeon hit me with an arm was hystericalguns are incredibly bad, i like them less, but i still like unique it feels.

I wouldn't recommend installing anything other than the unofficial patch for the first playthrough, but you can download the PLUS version of it which restores original content from the game, changes item locations or characters and so on, some people like it, some don't, it's up to you.
