>at the bar
>this guy slaps your gf's ass
what do?
Train to the entrance unless you have a 60 twinked Enfo with a panther or you have an Engi with a warbot/slayer droid
>new engine finally released
>its already a fucking decade old by the time it comes out
bravo
I haven't read the word "twinked" in so long, nostalgia.
it's impossible (and kind of pointless) to do in every modern mmorpg so the term will die off eventually.
the new engine is a wreck, pretty much no one uses it because its so buggy. theres about a 30% chance that changing zones with fuck up your vision and you have to restart.
which is a shame because it is pretty, the shadowing and grass effects are nice.
I was a beta tester for this game..
I even recieved an ugly brown AO t-shirt for it
We really need another sci fi mmo like this. Shame it'll never happen.
I feel this way about planetside
Stake your claim: Clan or Omni-Tek
Neutrals need not apply
Clan for life.. Leet-Bloc was the Org i was in
Omni-Tek. Clan is for steers and queers.
if you are anything besides glorious omnitek you are a fucking faglord queer to be honest
tfw clan has had higher side XP than ot and neuts for the past 10 years at least.
OT for that sexy backyard music

Goddamn I remember getting this when I was kid, before they even had any expansions out.
I remember thinking the coolest thing ever was the fixer grid, and how it was a special *better* mode of transport that only you could use, and only you could bring people through.
the Fgrid was and is still super dope!
Holy shit I was missing this my whole time in the clans?!?!
name one fucking place comfier than the bars in omni-1
wait up u cant
yeah but you guys have The Cup, the most comfy club in the game.
Played the game for a little but thank god Planetside and World of Warcraft came out to sweep me up. That game looks like a cheap Korean MMO.
I really miss this game.
Nothing since has had the same kind of item/stat system. Current WoW compared to this game is a pathetic joke when it comes to itemisation.
Inside the org city with all the custom furniture placed.
Trade backyard right at the grid exit.
Outside Rome subway.
RGA
...
Tried to get back into it a few weeks ago. Goddamn, the game's a fucking ghost town. I'm willing to believe that the population rises during EU hours but I took one look at the sheer lack of people running Subway and just turned off the game.
Does anyone else play this socially or has the game basically become a single-player MMO?
I remember getting this game at launch. It was a trainwreck of biblical proportions. Once they got the memory leak sort of ironed out it was one of my favorite MMOs though.
everyone left playing subs, so theres no reason to go to froob areas outside of gear, which is farmed for them by one of the many asshole twinks. the problem is that the people still playing are the absurdly rich who have nothing better to do than to make perfectly minmaxed alts
>2001
>not enjoying the absolute clusterfuck of confusion
Not sure if it's just because I was young and it was my first MMO, but Shadowlands felt so fucking vast and exciting to explore. It felt so mysterious, with nothing working quite as I was used to, as you'd expect to when entering a whole new world. But it was also so beautiful.
I don't think any other game has given me the same sense of wonder when exploring the in-game world.
