All PS3's are able to play PS1 discs, but warning! Ape escape is the one game that won't work! It will run, but it wont recognise a controller input for some reason.

Fuck never knew this. Always assumed it was Chris. Just a different look that they went for the cover.

Back then on PS1 games often had different looks for the artwork and in game characters. Final Fantasy VII is most obvious with this. You got like 3 or 4 different looks for the characters in just that one game.

Left and right sides are blended together. I think it's supposed to be whoever the character is at different points in time. That's why he has the forest whitaker expression. So he has a an assault rifle or something on the left side, and a pump-action shotty on the right.

MGS1 also comes to mind. The artwork was great. Then you play the game and they have no faces.

With that said I love PS1 era and it is my second favorite console after PS2.

That is a tough one but probably the save rooms for obvious reasons.

If you meant areas or halls then I'd go with the right side mansion area that has the save room. Pic related here. This area is very creepy and you have that one zombie in the view of the camera. Making you know that you just have to pass by it if you want to get to the other rooms. Pretty neat touch imo. I've actually had dreams about it and the masion in general since it is burned into my memory that much.

Nope and I'm willing to bet REmake 2 isn't going to be traditional. In fact I'm positive it won't be. If Square is so confident in changing genres for FFVII and that is the remake that was the most anticipated of all time I have no reason to assume Capcom doesn't think just like Square here.

They will want to appeal to all people with the remake. Not just old fans.
