Remake of course you homosensual

Remake is the objectively superior game but Original has its own appeal

Which is more non-linear, La-mulana or Breath of the Wild?

Any news on La Mulana 2? I heard it was supposed to be released 1-2 years ago

still getting kickstarter updates but no release dates

EX.

Both
I actually haven't played the original, I should really give it a try.

>Both
>But I haven't played the one that is complete ass

Is it worth it back it now or should I wait to buy it at release?

original looks cool
but the remake looks even better
like a 16 bit adaptation, like super mario all star for the snes

>backing

I spent 170$ after the kickstarter ended for the physical copies of both La-mulana 1 & 2.

These are all of the side characters of LM2

This is the new main menu

This is the new Surface after Xelpud renovated it.

BotW, because you can't kill Mother without slaying all the guardians. La-Mulana has one of the best semi-open world designs ever though, since from start to finish every direction you can go leads to some great clues to mysteries big and small and builds this atmosphere of exploring a giant complex, while stumbling in the complete dark.

But that's because she isn't a shit final boss unlike BotW.

More like Xelpudstein, know what I'm sayin'?

Well, yeah. The question was about non-linearity, not quality. My first playthrough I've finished that fight with one HP left and screamed for some time after it. It just keeps going and going, tons of fun.

>la mulana thread

Fuck yes. I can't wait for La Mulana 2.

HYPED

REMINDER THAT YOU USED A GUIDE AND IF YOU SAY YOU DIDN'T YOU'RE A DIRTY FUCKING LIAR

I prefer the original

>a fucking castle

Remake with original music

I used a guide for the original but the remake's puzzles weren't unsolvable pieces of garbage so I could do it without a guide except for hell temple, that's literally bad game design: the optional level. I get that it's a joke but did it really have to exist?

The problem with remakes is that the 3d graphics look cheap and kinda shitty. You see this all the time with Castlevania remakes.

I prefer the left solely because the right looks like it was made in 2005.

this looks too well animated to be hentai
it's probably ecchi trash
either way I will be disappointed right?
what's the source?

>Juxtaposition between 32-bit visuals and 8-bit music

I bet you that castle is where we've seen Mulbruk eating at in the promo art.

The original has better graphics and music. The remake pretty much beats it in nearly every other regard.

i only used a guide for the mantras and nothing else.

>tfw watching deceased crabs crappy videos and trying to work out what the japanese walkthroughs said with google translate

>3D
>Dissing delicious 32-bit spritework
>2005
How can you be this retarded and keep breathing?

Text that goes with this one:

We were struggling with the menu design for a long time, but finally it's getting better. So today, I'm going to show you the item menu. There isn't a big difference from L1. However, as you can see the right side has been greatly modified. Some items have passive effects once acquired, and you cannot remove them afterwards. This makes Lemeza's costume change permanently. I heard some of the users even regreted getting the reward after completing the Hell Temple area. That said, in L2, those items are removable. Not only that, some items grant Lumisa some abilities by equipping them. There might be a puzzle for some power-ups, which might become a burden to solve them... maybe.

The keys you can find at the bottom of the image are the backer rewards. These keys can unlock the treasure chests containing the costumes. There are four chests in total. Here, you might think "Hey, costumes won't be available for people who didn't back? That's not fair!" So we've discussed this a lot, and concluded that one costume key will be given to you upon finishing the game. So non-backers also can get all the costumes in the end.

It's ecchi trash, called shimoneta

quick, niggero needs your money or la-mulana 2 will be hot garbage

Favorite monster design?

Speaking of, new bestiary from La-mulana 2.

I was excited and concentrated too much for the past 2 weeks on creating the data for all the enemies including the bosses, and I just realized there is no artwork I can use for the blog post. That's why we took a break last week.

The menu screen we shared in the last post was still under development, so the tabs for the working applications at the top were all active as you could see. There, you can find some unknown items like "Book", "Report", and "Skull" which were not there in L1 and I bet you are wondering what are those for. Let me explain about those today.

The "Book" is an encyclopedia. I've wanted to have this for a long time. Some of you might have seen a similar one in the PlayStation Vita version of L1. In L2's case, you need to find each page to fill the blank encyclopedia. This idea came from our programmer because he wanted to have a similar collectibles from L1, like searching for the game software for Lemeza's laptop. You'll probably find the info for simple enemies or NPCs easily, but I'm sure you'll struggle to find those for the guardians or player characters.

Also, a few of you are thinking "is there any tablet PC with only 1 GB RAM these days?" But the reason why we set the maximum RAM is to set the limit to the available software at the same time, so even if the RAM size is 8GB, the mail software simply takes up 2GB. I'm still not sure what is the best idea for this though.

...

Tiamat and her 11 babbies.

Baphomet

He has boots as well.

...

I think it's shimoneta. It's funny, but it's still ecchi trash

>500 hp

...

it's about freedom fighters in a world where everything sexual is banned

It's probably a boss

Have you beaten it, Sup Forums?

Pretty sure that's literally impossible

Does anyone know how to reliably evade Tiamat's super laser? I remember cheesing it with the caltrops, that was lame.

Yes, and it was horrendous. Never ever again.

>Palenque without subweapons or the axe
>after all the previous guardians
>with 64 hp

Climb up in the top corner right after the kool-aid, then jump down and go around to the other top corner. The laser locks to your position while she's charging.

It's possible, although the expert high-level isn't.

I tried to search if anyones beaten it and only found this:
youtube.com/watch?v=F9vnUxywHOk
what the fuck

I jumped on the top right side and used my fall speed to dodge it. I'm an idiot for not thinking about using caltrops.

I can top you.

>watched a Japanese speedrun of the game trying to understand solutions to problems by starting, then pausing to find solutions

What makes expert high-level impossible?

Let's be honest, is Naruminhai /ourboi/?

Original, but I like the remake too. However the remixed music is awful so I swap it with the original game's when I play (along with the puzzle solve/fail jingle).

The final boss, the giant slime. Every time he backs you in the corner you have to make a 50:50 guess about whether he stays there or goes in the other direction. If you guess wrong once you die instantly. The only way to avoid him is by hanging on the wall, which you can't do because Nigoro forgot to give you the grapple claw.

>Only found out about the grail after 3 solid hours of play.
I dropped the game for 6 months after that.

left

>Doesn't like the remakes solve/fail jingle
How can someone have such shit taste?

They have no distinct sound and sound almost identical, sorry you're deaf.

posting best song

wtf how is he killing them so quickly?

It's a TAS

oic
people still use that trash?

FYI your hearing improves over time. One day you'll probably hear the difference and feel pretty damn silly.

What?

>started playing this game without a guide
>bretty gud, somehow managed to find and kill one boss
>get stuck for 3 days straight
>dropped because I didn't want to cheap my way out by using a guide and I had other games to play
man, I wish I was young again, I recall being stuck on adventure games for weeks back when I was a retarded kid, now than I'm a retarded adult I can't even stand a few days

there's a hint based guide on steam
literally no one will blame you for using a guide anyway
the game was deliberately set up to be as convoluted as fuck on top of the platforming being difficult

2012

>on top of the platforming being difficult
>That one hell temple room.

When's the sequel being released?

Why does this item exist? It's literally the most overpowered piece of shit and makes the entire game easy, it ruins an otherwise balanced game.

It has good uses for puzzles but it really shouldn't be able to kill bosses so quickly.

i never knew it was powerful....thanks for the info i guess

It's only OP if you get the bracelet or ring or whatever.

It should still do atleast half as much damage as it already does. It instakills palenque

I'm still stuck there.

...how long's it been?

personally i stopped playing after reaching the chamber of birth (i think) the part with all the mud men
also just wanna say if anyone didnt read the plaque twice youre weak

If you're only in the chamber of birth, you haven't even come close to the hardest room of the game.

i just got tired of wasting hours running around the entire accessible areas trying to figure out the dumb as fuck riddles
basically im too stupid to enjoy a game that requires a guide to finish it

Fuck me, I don't think I want to know how long I've been stuck there for. Probably nearing a year of me getting fucked by unicorns.
Delete this.

How is this game so deep?

is this good game design?

original is superior
