Gun was basially what I assumed Red Dead Revolver was going to be. It was a pretty hokey and cartoonish game but i was in 7th grade and it satiated my desire for a western themed GTA style game. I never actually played Revolver though.
Loved both, Red Dead Revolver is more memorable for me though.
Also that god tier opening theme. youtube.com
Gun was surprisingly good for what it was at it's time. But Red Dead is the more stylish game of it.
Too bad they're both shitty Bloodborne ripoffs
>Gun
>cartoonish
Nigga, go and play Revolver. Then you'll know what's cartoonish.
...
Gun hands down, doesn't hold that well now but back then it was pretty good game.
is this a new meme
Gun because Kris Kristofferson is in it
I only played Gun back when they came out.
Can't remember very much of it but I liked it. I played Revolver a few months ago. That was good too.
Definitely Gun.
Are Call of Juarez games any good?
Gunslinger is a nice little game.
Someone's trying to force it real hard anyway
Cartel is trash
1st is meh
The other two are good
None, western games are all cinematic trash for cucked nu-ma-... wait a minute.
gun, duh
I like the first one, it is its own game
The others seem like CoD knockoffs, played bound in blood when it came out and it ruined the franchise for me.
Gun if you want a world to play in and Red Dead if you're into the gunplay.
I played RDR campaigne and multiplayer all the time with NPCs unlocking new characters and bonuses.
Gun, as soon as its over, it's over, nothing to unlock
why do they all look so damn generic
Does this count as a western?
yeah, a very unique one.
That game is so fucking good.
>hunting shit with bow and arrow in Gun
aw yeah
Bound in blood and gunslingers is 8/10 at least if you fancy spaghetti western games. The thing between both is that one is a serious tone another being a comical tone. But its a fresh change.
Revolver is miles better
Red Dead Redemption 2 maybe coming this year
Sucker Punch rumored to be making a western
Far Cry 5 rumored to be western
wew lad
I heard the FC5 western setting wasn't true and it was going to by a modern day setting. Although i heard that here so it could very well be false.
>calling it Red Dead Redemption 2 when it's the third game in the franchise
Most people have never heard of Revolver, i can see why they did it but i can see why it's also retarded. They're probably treating it like Redemption is to Revolver what Dark Souls was to Demon's Souls.
the first half does
Gunslinger is great, love that game. It has lots of humor, lots of color and doesn't have any stupid stealth sections or escort missions or vehicle sections. It's all about shooting things from start to finish and thankfully the gunplay is pretty good. The guns sound powerful, lots of blood is flying out of dudes and you get a choice between shotguns and rifle/pistols.
The only weak element of the game are bullet spongey bosses and awkward duels.
Enjoyed Gunslinger haven't checked out the others yet.
Is the X360 version of Gun any good?
I have it but i honestly don't remember.
Feels and looks the same as PS2 but with achievements
Curious about the gamecube one though
GUN was a rather generic, small open world game with really awful setpiece battles starring the most bland motherfucker ever. I remember there being multiple memory leaks that make playing for more than an hour at a time result in the game getting really buggy.
Red Dead Revolver was a pretty damn good, campy third person action shooter divided into a variety of missions and starring a handful of dudes you switched between as the story went on. It was a really fun spaghetti western.
I was really bummed that Red Dead Redemption ended up more like GUN (except instead of a small open world it was a big empty open world) rather than a proper sequel to Revolver.
