10 million dollars (publisher and kickstarter) to make this

>10 million dollars (publisher and kickstarter) to make this

Defend this.

No one defends anything in "defend this" posts. Its just a big circlejerk of people saying the exact same things.

Most of the money (for most kickstarters) is shelved for future titles.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket as the saying goes.

BUY MY GAME! I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK TO POVERTY!

Looks like a standard DS Castlevania-like game.

Background and foreground seperation is good looking

I think the main issue is the characters ground shadow being unseeable on the roofs

>Defend this.
Its not finished yet. And its not released yet.
I believe that footage is from an alpha build for fuck sake.
Eat a dick.

>defend pre-pre-alpha webm
Kill yourself op.

It looks like it has a 10k budget

Ive noticed that all kickstarter games that shat the bed hardest used 3d and unreal engine

Im assuming that with the pattern im seeing with this, bloodstained will be poorly received as well

Looks better than any 10 million dollar movie ever made.

>i-its just a pre-pre-pre-alpha g-guys!

>Ive noticed that all kickstarter games that shat the bed hardest used 3d and unreal engine

Because they don't know how to make engines or assets, so they just use these "free" engines and "free" or paid assets. They get a very cheap look to them.

Bloodstained would have served well by making it 3DS focused, and 2D only. Inti-creates are good 2D artist. Gunvolt's sprite work is impeccable. They can't do 3D worth a fuck.

But it literally is...

Fuck off its clearly in pre-pre-pre-pre-pre omega stage you fucker.

They said the same thing about Mighty Number 9. ANd they changed nothing.

Inti-Creates are idiots.

thats not pre-alpha at all
pre-alpha is proof of concept at best

Take doom 0.2a for example. THAT is a pre-alpha

i backed mn9 and i can certainly say one thing
should have been in 2d. would have been much much better

It looks fine, what the fuck are you complaining about?

Reminder that this cost 15 million dollars.

Oh god I can't fucking stand her idle animation, it's like >"YOU'RE GOING TO BE DEFEATED BY MY MAGICAL SPELLS LALALALA"

and all of it went to her ass
how much did all the other games put into ass? fucking none thats what

it's perfect for a prototype

needs no defending

>it's just a beta guys.

Reminder this is the last game Inti-Creates worked on.

It looks Castlevania-y but let's just wait for the final release.

Probably wouldn't have played any better.

Inafune has proven time and again that he can work wonders under a strict budget. All I fear is that the large sum of money he got out of this kickstarter will be his downfall.

He is going to try too much.

I don't mind the Doll house/Diorama aesthetic it has going for it personally. Kind of has a stage play feel to it too.

I remember the demo not sucking shit for bloodstained and it turning out exactly how I expected it to be. A Iga castlevania game.

As long as They don't fuck that up the game will be fine in my book.

You're fucking retarded if you think that a prototype is equivalent to the " ITS JUST A BETA" phase.

damn that webm made me wanna pirate that shit.

is it really worth playing? i dont give a shit about her ass, porn is better

>A Iga castlevania game.

Little known answer you might not wanna hear. The amount of 2D metroidvanias directed by Igga from start to finish: 0. Symphony was only an Assistant Directoral role, as he finished the game half way through after Toru Haighara left. He is a PRODUCER and WRITER not a DIRECTOR. Its looks like might have been more on the business side of things during his time at Konami. He writes out a script, a general concept, hires some people, and they make the game.

>Castlevania:Symphony Of The Night - Toru Hagihara
>Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance - Takashi Takeda
>Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow - Junichi Murakami
>Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow - Satoshi Kushibuchi
>Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin - Satoshi Kushibuchi
>Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia -Akihiro Minakata

Sup Forums fell yet again for the businessman-Producer meme. That's why "his" games vary wildly in terms of quality. Who they're having directing Bloodstained is key. Who is he? Probably some no-name from Inti-Creates.

Combat is as deep if not slightly more than the transformers game.
Story is phenomenal
The ass game. Incredible.
The characters. You'll hate at least one of the characters. More than likely one you play as.

Yes. Buy it. But please at least wait for a sale. It's a small title and it needs the sales.

When I say iga castlevania I only mean Iga was a part of it in some manner. The whole leveling and equipment aspects were in all games he was a part of.

Also Igarashi Produced and wrote the Scenario for most of those games. He was also assistant Director for Symphony. He was a active role and driving force in the development of those games.

>five month old game play

You cannot compare a supergenius like Taro with indie developers.

Dragon's Crown had a one million dollar budget. No excuses.

every day. same webm

man, you sound like a huge beta faggot...

>literally not even alpha is representative of the final product
What did he mean by this?

Meanwhile...
In a AAA game made by Platinum and published by Square-Enix...
