MEh 4

>it's been like 3 months
Is it playable now?

Just let it fade to obscurity and play something else.

Is it hacked now? I just want to pirate it for teh lulz

Put that back where it came from

Make me.

why would time make it more playable? Even if they fixed every glitch and weird animation it'd still be mired in mediocrity that retreads the previous games

The core game loop is boring as shit.
I'm sure they fixed a lot of stuff, but the writing is still shit and the gameplay is driving around boring planets with hundreds of fetch quests.

Dude.. it has been hacked like 3 days after release.

They came up with a bunch of BS of devs cant work on so much content so a lot of it is just auto generated. Then they go in and fix by hand.
>First Mission
>Rain is on the characters faces instead of on their helm visor
They didn't even try with this game.

No it wasn't, the torrent didn't come out till like a week and a half after.

It's best to just never play Mass Effect again unless a good game is released.

>Mass Effect
Who gives a single fuck, this franchise has yet to give anything that isn't some bootleg-tier turd.

I really can't get myself to play it. I beat the original trilogy at least 10 times but this game is damn near impossible for me to enjoy.

>I beat the original trilogy at least 10 times
Well, you already have a cancerous taste in videogames, so you should enjoy Andromeda.
I recommend Mafia 3, too.

why would you go anywhere near this series after the third game? or any bioware game after dragon age 2 for that matter

Patches that correct 'tired faces' aren't going to do anything to correct the bland combat, lifeless planets, or god awful writing.

Why would you try this series in the first place?
To experience a completely creatively bankrupt attempt at being Star Wars, pulling every single space opera cliche they could think of?

ebin post my friend.

kys.

>the studio that made it got shitcanned

Good riddance.
Maybe next entry will be made by main Bioware studio not by some no names.
The fuck is even Bioware Edmonton doing for the last 5 years.

Why did you have to remind me...
I bought a 1080 just for it too.

Hiring people based on their opinions and not talent.

Main Bioware is just as fucked buddy, i should know. I live in the same city as them and went to our local expo last year and they were there.

How would seeing them at a local expo be any indication of how fucked they are?

It was always playable. That's not the problem.

The hell you mean fucked?
They are working on something, there must be over 300 people working there.
Still, they are mia for over 5 years now, so fuck knows what it is.

Now that Bioware Montreal is gone, its back to Austin, the inqusition and Swtor guys, and Edmonton, the main studio.
Opening all those satellite studio really tarnished Bioware name.

It's just incredibly bland. I couldn't name you ten NPCs from the game that aren't companions/crew.

Real problem is EA basically wants all projects to follow yearly sports game releases or as close as possible to that. RPGs in particular cannot be developed in such a way.

i got to see "them"

fucked

How the hell did Bioware fall from grace so fast? Even after the ME3 shitstorm there were still staunch defenders of them everywhere. Now its the norm to shit on Bioware. Oh how times change.

They can never fix the real problems.

>Removing DS LS points was a mistake
People give bioware shit for the save the kittens or kill the puppies moral choices but atleaset you felt like you had a choice and it mildly affected outcomes. In Andromeda everything is just the same the only choice is to be sarcastic or boring.

>3 powers
Remember how biotics are built from the ground up to be a combo based system? Three is not a number that works well with combo systems.

Everything went to shit after Baldur's gate's golden era

I think Sonic just cursed Bioware after they helped make Dark Brotherhood (pic related).

punzy
no
why

How do we fix bioware? The next Dragon Age has to be good

Get the writers to stop forcing gay on their players
DA:Inquisition pretty much punishes straight males

Next DA is going to be a trainwreck, though.

>taking on Tevinter Imperium
>dismantling the mage elite
>freeing all the slaves

SJW story writes itself.

Is that a DLC outfit?

But will it really be all about that? Everything post-DA2 pointed to a Mage and Templar war for the next game with thousands of discussions about it everywhere.

Remember what happened? That got relegated to background shit and we got fuckin' Corypheus again. Fuckin' assholes.

>dismantling the elite
>sjw

I though the alt right were all about dismantling the liberal elites.

jesus, get you fucking story straight, you aspie fag.

The elites itself aren't liberal, they brainwash them with liberal propaganda for easy manipulation tho

>still no 1.06 CPY

Who'd ever thought having to scan around for random or invisible things is even remotely fun.

latest patch, I think

>being this dumb.

*I'm only human after all...I'm only human after all*

It's just flavor for idiots to align themselves to one of the two camps, user. Shit is fundamentally exactly the same.

The game was always playable. It's been improved without a doubt, but some things you can't fix with patches.

No, it was added in a recent patch for Deluxe owners.

There are a lot of choices to make in Andromeda, the problem is the same as it was in Mass Effect 1. It never gets mentioned again, so now we'll have to wait for the next Mass Effect. If you mean "impactful" choices, then that's based on your preference. The only choice that mattered in ME1 was the Virmire Survivor, and I didn't like either one of them, especially in ME3, where the gutted them of their original personality.

As for three powers, I'll be honest, it's kind of better. Kind of. Pull, throw, Singularity, all right after the other. Charge, Nova, Shockwave. Cryo-beam, Concussive Blast, Pull. There are better combo's in the game, even more so if you forego "class restrictions." It's not perfect, but none of the series were.

Rarely ever are there invisible things, and even when they are, they're highlighted in orange. Can't miss 'em. An icon pops up letting you know if you're near an item to scan, and it's very hard to miss them. Not as bad as W3, but still bad.

I don't think even the hackers cared at this point to crack the patch

>Being this triggered over the truth

Good song, but it was too much on the nose. It's no PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.

1.05 got cracked.

>but her emails

whats the point of wearing underwear in space ?

>they're highlighted in orange
Only when you highlighted them with a scanner. And icon only pops up for quest-related scan targets, not every other random things that grants you research points.
Point is you spend most of the time walking around with the scanner out combing the environment, and not actually you know walk normally or gun ready.
It's even worse than DA:I's omnidirectional "scan".

same reasons as on earth.

No more mass effect, EA got star wars & it's all the same to them.
And it seems tumblr isn't selling very well.
Or rather, not as well as they'd hoped.

Ah, fucking hell, I forgot about that shit. I don't know why I hated that thing so much, when in Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, I loved it. Anyway, unless we're playing different games, they are highlighted orange when you see them. They become transparent whitish when you scan them. If I'm in an populated area, I usually turn the scanner on and do a quick 360. The scanner is pointless, true, but it's not annoying to use. I don't know, maybe I'm retarded.

dank memes trickled down to the normies

Depends, do you want the patched ones? Or the vanilla one? Cause vanilla has been hacked within the first week, the patches use a new denuvo, so no hack for them yet. And before those who say that piratws should off themselves appear, I only pirate games that I might find interesting, and if I enjoy them, I buy the original game, it's like when we still had demos for games that were coming out that everyone had acces to and not just a select few.

I'm one of the biggest ME fans out there but even I was so bored I didn't finished it. I was on the Planet of the Angara (after finished the both Angara missions on the Ice and the Jungle Planet), was on the bar and just stopped playing. At this point Andromeda had exactly zero tension, Ikea mission design like in the very first Mass Effect and that shitty "We want to be the Guardians of the Galaxy" dialogue.

Maybe I give it another chance after my exams in July.

How did anyone even like this shit franchise with it's repulsive weapon and armor designs? Were real human asthetics too much to make over the autistic as fuck nerf guns with LED?

>meet an alien from a whole different galaxy for the first time
>less than a minute later converses smoothly in english

No, it needs more patches still.

It doesn't get much better user. When I finished it, the only thing I could think was how fucking anti-climatic and void of tension the whole thing was. The kett are pretty much discount reapers.

>There are people who actually thought the straight white males controlling everything were Republicans instead of the suits giving money to Hillary.

God forbid we use stuff other than modern military rifles centuries into the future.

Because there are not many other modern space opera RPGs out there, and I need that space opera fix.

>he likes the autistic looking nerf guns
Half those millitary rifles look like they belong in the future anyway. But I guess making alien weaponry is too hard for these talentless hacks.

This is explained in-game. They're called translators, and they've been used since Mass Effect 1. You were not the first humans to meet the Angara, nor vise versa.

Pretty much no one in the OT knew english anyway, it was all translators. Every race talks their own language when they're speaking to you.

What's wierd is how sometimes random phrases don't get translated, like Vega occasionally switching to spanish or Keelah se'lai.

problem is not with bugs, its gameplay, characters and story.

They fixed autismo ryder's facial animations and made her a bit prettier, and adjusted animations and cutscene camera-work. They also added eye tracking so the characters actually look at what they're focusing on instead of staring down to the bottom of the uncanny valley.

Still needs more work though.

>Complaining that futuristic, alien weaponry looks like futuristic, alien weaponry.

And before you start complaining that the human-made weapons also look wierd, remember basically all human technology by that point has been altered by finding prothean ruins and the mass relay, so it might as well be alien too.

What a bullshit and lazy excuse to not make an alien language. Even on this tiny mudball there's a plethora of languages that take months to even speak basic phrases. Could faggot normies not "relate" to subtitles and accents and need to hear generic American english?

>party of corporate neo-jews
>party of bleeding heart carebear socialists
>thinks the carebear socialists are the elites controlling everything
brilliant, now back to Sup Forums you fucking frog-poster.

what is wrong with her arms and armpits?
even barbie dolls have better anatomy

>now with eye-tracking
holy shit bioware put 1 star in tech this time around didn't they?

__yes__

The autistic looking LED Nerf guns are not alien weaponry, far from it. They're all butchered human looking guns. Real alien weaponry should weigh mjch more, feel uncomfortable and look unfit for human hands. Amazing how a company that doesn't even make RPG's understood this but the same fucking studio that made Baldurs gate doesn't.

>playing ME2 more than once
>playing ME3 ever
The amount of shit taste you have is staggering

I think they fixed some of the animations but the writing is still shit.
t. someone who played the game until the end

Pretty much, yeah. Is there even a game where they don't all use the same language? Besides that, how would they ever lip-sync? They'd have to do it manually, and we've seen how bad that can be.

>Plot and world building from ME1
>Combat from ME2
>Party interaction from ME3
>Exploration with ME1 system, but MEA Nomad and terrain
>Captcha that asks me for vehicles and gives me signals

Well Witcher 3 uses multiple languages, they're not even speaking english, for real immersion it's polish. Also if lip-sync is a big deal why not make more, faceless aliens that don't speak because it's too muffled but communicate with sign language?

It's embarrassing how wall street managed to convince the rednecks that socialists are the bad ones.

Really makes you think about the state of humanity and whether we even have the right to exist with all that stupidity.

Socialism is just a new word for Communism. Fuck off to Venezuela and enjoy all the nothing you can eat you commie loving fuck.

I'm not a Communist.

I just want the world to put an end to the capitalist elites' divide and conquer tactics they use to manipulate and oppress the people.

Funny how you mention Venezuela when it's a country that offers free healthcare and education.

Something that supposedly is impossible and can never be done in the US, a far "richer" country.

I've been playing it since the 1.06 patch and it's... okay. Not great, but passable. They've fixed up most of the technical stuff at least. The eyes no longer look so creepy and they've redone a lot of the body and facial animation during cutscenes to look more natural, along with some camera changes. It generally looks pretty nice now.

They've also just straight up removed some of the more clunky dialogue. Some of Addison's dialogue has been cut for example (though not "my face is tired"). They also completely removed the dialogue branch from the character on Eos that reveals that they're a tranny when you pick it. There's zero indication of that now.

As for the gameplay, the side quests are boring as shit, just like in Cisquisition. It seems possible to stick rigidly to the main path though, which is what I'm doing. The main story missions aren't bad to be honest, even if some of the dialogue is infantile and cringeworthy.

>You were not the first humans to meet the Angara, nor vise versa.
Literally first contact on Aya.
Your ship is forced to touch down, they're still using alien language.
Instantly after, an "important one" shows up and speaks in perfect English, not even broken grammar and stuff.
They could've shown you trading rosetta stones with each other or some shit needing some time to get to understand each other, it could even be used as a plot point on the supposed "space drama".

But no, here's some more quest for you chosen one, and don't forget to take Knuckles with you.

Definitely 6/10 for me. Better than ME3, but a lot buggier

Venezuela sucks, I like food and money.

Multiplayer also somehow got worse.

I still enjoy replaying ME1 greatly, though
I just wish the menus for shops and inventory moved faster, they're dreadfully slow

>Not wanting to experience the shittiness by yourself
You have to go through ME3 at least once just to understand how bad it is
I liked the sticky grenade handgun, though

The pirated version has the facial animation patch

>You are the first aliens on Aya, because it's sacred.
>They're translators are already updated since they've been in contact with the exiles. They understand you from the start. One of the options, when being ushered in, gets a laugh out of the pilots.
>SAM has deciphered their language by the time the governor shows up.

I rented this game 2 weeks ago. I got 100% viability on all the planets (not the same as completing every quest) and fucked Cora and completed the game. I think my save was about 20ish hours by the end.

I can't say I disliked playing it, and all the SJW stuff isn't as intrusive as made out. However, it's still buggy as shit (hard crashes, quests, animation glitches etc etc etc). The story is boring and the writing isn't particularly memorable or good. However something kept me coming back enough to finish it (maybe as I have to return it to get another game).

can i make caucasian characters yet? why would they go with editting presets anyway? seems like a lot of steps back from what DA:I had.

She has the body of a fit asian teenager.

Venezuela is the murder capital of the planet.

>The fuck is even Bioware Edmonton doing for the last 5 years.
Edmonton made Dragon Age Inquisition
