What genre do you choose?

What the hell is that user.
I'm a vidya designer and i really want to pitch you the game but I don't know the source material
Isn't that the faggy YA series with the "boy genius" and folklore?
I get a different publisher who doesn't task me with making garbage.
Action adventure third-person shooter with crafting and stealth elements. It will be made by Ubisoft.
Who's the player character. Butler? Juliet? Holly?
2D platformer
3-d action adventure following the trilogy.
Some unholy combination between Rainbow Six and Hitman where you have to plan heists and control multiple characters to have them steal stuff. Not everyone would be able to fight, so you would have to plan out how to do stuff with the limitations each character has.
Beyond Good and Evil-like
You start the game as Artemis and will be required to solve puzzles of one kind or another. After completing his intro, you switch to Holly, who is in a combat mission. After this, you will start on the story missions. Some missions will be solo as described above, but most will have a Lego style party; you can switch between the characters to gain certain benefits. Minor characters such as the butler, the minotaur, and the goblin will be there at certain parts. The butler would be hand to hand combat, the minotaur would be like Bentley's mission from the first Sly Cooper, and the Goblin would have some sort of underground thing. There would be minor choices throughout, really only affecting what the other playable characters think of you.
Is this official artwork? That's not how I pictured any of them.
Can I just have a game that's basically DOOM but I play as Butler?
ok Lost Vikings
Yeah I prefer Deviantart Artemis, if I'm completely honest.
Like what the fuck is happening with Butler's neck in that comic?
If you read the whole comic, you just get used to it
Artemis Fowl wouldn't work as a video game. As such, this is now a Skulduggery Pleasant thread.
taking place in the fairy world maybe?
By minotaur, I assume you mean Foaly the centaur.
Oh it gets worse. Those three are okay, except that Holly is supposed to have darker skin. Even Butler's neck I could learn to live with.
But then they make Juliet look like an anorexic girl who could barely hold a door open, and for some reason that one ended up bugging me the most.
I found the first book to be a masterful storytelling of two intersecting points of view. So to answer I say Holly as MC with hi-tech equipment and primary game mechanics, Butler and Juliet as side missions with their sets of equipment and mechanics.
>and for some reason that one ended up bugging me the most
because she is supposed to be a martial artists world champion?
I would make a game where there is a text saying "weebs are fucking faggots and should kill themself" displayed at all times
>skellingotn
>bimbo
MUH DIC
I would make a game where Artemis finally fucks a cute brown fairy.
I would be so down for a revisit to that concept
>ywn seduce a tsundere elf that's old enough to be your grandmother
Oops, sorry. Neither the artist nor your marketers understand the concept of brown skin. Your fairy is now as white as the rest of your characters.
It's Splinter Cell but you play as his butler or bodyguard or whatever he was again.
Artemis is Lambert, Holly is Grimsdottir.
Holly and Juliet are top tier waifus.
At least my mental image of them was.
Holy shit I forgot all about this series. I think I read the first 4 books but it was so dang cool but goofy as hell.
Keep in mind Colfer is autistic about Ireland so the studio, devs, VA's, artists and guy who gets your coffee all have to be Irish/based in Ireland
haha what the fuck is that thing on the right
what the fuck is wrong with his neck? It looks like he's got fucking elephantitis
is that supposed to be Butler?
Stealth shooter from Holly's perspective. Missions involve rescuing Artemis and doing other stuff. Slowly introduce new gadgets over the course of the game.
