Games becoming a universal medium for everyone, like movies and music (instead of a recessed niche only marketed to a certain demographic), is a good thing looking forward.

MGSV is the only recent open world game I enjoyed simply because it had arguably the best controls in video game history, good art direction and a subtle soundtrack.

I know, I know, it's empty, but it's visually great and feels like a real place. Incredibly immersive, especially with HUD turned off.

I agree with The Last of Us. It really shined in the multiplayer.

There is nothing wrong with "walking simulators." Exploration games are comfy, especially with a VR headset.

MGS2 is the magnum opus while MGS3 is just what fans wanted in 2 while they were jerking off to their imagined idealization of the franchise. MGS3 is a mockery of MGS fans and admittance of defeat and loss of vision. It's a last game in the franchise that can be considered great, but not as great as MGS on PSX and MGS2 on PS2 even if the downhill is very subtle. MGS4 was never supposed to exist and MGSV is basically a MGS game only in name.

Destiny was interesting, and the choice to put the EU information outside of the game was the right one.

Indie games are all awful. Everyonw always totes how some are goodx they're not. They're barely above mobile games.
