It'll turn out Callie was worried Marie didn't like her anymore because of the Splatfest results and that allowed the Octarians to control her mind. Then they'll reconcile at the end.
how many versions of this are there?
Hold on, so will the events that will take place in Splatoon 2 be influenced by the fact that Marie won? And if Callie won it would be a lot different?
I don't wanna look stupid so someone tell me if this has been done before for a video game sequel before I go calling it revolutionary.
Xcom (new one) used statistics to see what ending most people got. Xcom 2 continued on this ending story.
Too bad it was a failure ending as most people couldn't win the game.
I'll kill Callie if that's what Marie wants.
shes not brainwashed. She knows what shes doing.
Most likely Octavio got freed because Callie accidentaly knocked the snowglobe over
Callie's tentacles look ripped at the ends. No way she wasn't mindbroken + raped.
Panda when
S2 any day now.
really nicely made
>sword
they should have made it a roller or a brush or something
panda? Do you mean the sad one?
Infamous 3 used the ending more people got in Infamous 2, the good ending, to decide the plot of the game. I was kinda bummed since I got both endings and preferred the bad one.
I'm kinda interested how this artwork would have looked if Callie and Marie's roles were switched.
>ripped tentacles
that sounds legit painful
poor Callie
I honestly feel like the story would've been the same despite the outcome of the Final Splatfest, just tweaked a bit.
Callie Lost - Goes darkside because she feels inferior to Marie
Callie Wins - Let's fame go to her head and still goes darkside.
Although, assuming I wrong, I would like to see a mock up swapping Marie and Callie. At least, I feel Marie would've been more enemy material than Callie. Callie is too silly to be taken seriously, while Marie could easily be a murder machine.
I don't think Callie is evil on choice, and she seemed to still be happy alongside Marie in the Squid Sister Stories. Since she's wearing similar shades to the Octoling in the poster, I want to say it's some sort of control device. The shades are clearly the focus of Callie in the poster, so I feel they're important to what happened to her.
Perhaps that's what will make it good.
That level of doubt necessary to win her over in the end. Don't forget this is still a kids' game.
I honestly think they did put it up to chance.
You really don't think Callie is an off choice for a villain when Marie would make an excellent snarky icequeen? I mean, how often does the dorky genki girl become the big bad?
>not a roller
>game called infamous
>infamous karma isn't canon
I'm still upset
You try and fit that through someone's head without obscuring half the image.
Aren't artists supposed to be good at art? Oh wait never mind it's just a trace.
>being good at art means you can get away with hiding Marie's entire face behind a roller
Don't you ever fucking reply to me again.
Yes it does. How do you think cartoons are?
