I like em.
I think they're good for the industry.
They're not awesome either, but pretty good imo.
too much pixel art games.
Literally who
Hoping for a Konami level of quality on their e3 conference.
Not my kind of games.
One of the premiere indie publishers. They have several games they helped bring to market, including Hotline Miami and Enter the Gungeon. Their latest publishing effort is with Sloclap and their freshman game, Absolver.

A GDC talk by one of Devolver's boys about what indie devs need to know about working with publishers.
one of the few decent indie publishers who dont try to suck out the souls of their devs unlike black shell media
and i work for those goons
They cancelled some ports to the PS Vita, I hate them, fuckers
bump
They honestly act more like a marketing company due to none of the devs being bound to them by contract.
Hell, sometimes they don't even know what the studios they work with are actually developing like when Croteam announced The Talos Principle out of the blue.
Where is serious sam 4?
They publish SS so I'm excited for that inevitable announcement at their E3.
Shadow Warrior 2013 is actually pretty good
One of the best publishers in the biz
Why the fuck are they even doing their own conference?
Serious Sam 4 is an obvious one, and maybe Hotline Miami 3. But what the fuck else could they even announce? At best all I could see is Pathologic 2 and even that is unlikely.
Came here to post this.
SCUM, perhaps
They can't NOT announce Serious Sam 4, right?
....right?
See . Now that it's got a concrete release date and a closed beta starting very soon, expect a bigger push for Absolver in the immediate future.

maybe a dlc to ETG?
It was supposed to come out at the end of 2016, so an end of 2017 release is inevitable.
I wouldn't be so sure about it releasing this year
also this.
According to an easteregg in VR it's supposed to come out in December 2018.
When?
Fucking brave of them to make their own conference among industry giants
If it works out for them boy are they raking in the cash
Beta is like mid next month
Watch the video earlier in the thread. Live release is August 29th for PC and PS4. Closed beta is starting soon, with invitation waves happening but the assumption that most everyone who signed up for beta will be playing before the end of June.
They must have decided to make the whole game VR compatible from the get go or something.
Honestly I'll probably get VR if the Rift 2.0 comes out. I waited to see whether HTC or Facebook would be the bigger jews, and surprisingly HTC have been far more jewish.
Devolver is basically the biggest indie publisher, so it's the closest any conference can get to a dedicated indie showcase, without the obligatory "here's a snapshot of the biggest indie games coming to our platform" reel that the big consoles do at their own conference.
Hotline Miami is in my top 5 indie games, they're okay in my book.
FYI, this closed beta will be PC only and will be under a NDA.
NDA could range in severity, but either way chance is we're getting a fuckton of footage
Ruiner when? Better be a release date at E3, I need my cyberpunk fix
>HTC have been far more jewish.
Explain
>$200 eye tracking
>Overpriced controllers
>Refuse to price cut the VIVE after Rift did a price cut because they call theirs the "premium product"
>Shit tons of overpriced gimmick attachments that could just be built into the vive 2.0
i just want to know when RUINER is coming out.
