His girlfriend had an anxiety attack at work and paramedics took her to the doctor. Phil talked about the experience so let me give you the gestalt.

He took a cab ride to the hospital because he didn't have the car.
His wallet was empty (BUGGED MONEY MECHANICS).
He cab driver couldn't figure out how to use Phil's credit card (FUCKING ONLINE LAG NEWBS).
He gets to the reception desk at the hospital and no one is there.
Takes DSP 5 minutes before he finds a phone and is given instructions on how to get to intensive care wing of the hospital.
His girlfriend is actually fine, relative to anxiety attacks, and both of them wanna be discharged.
DSP experiences bugged rude mechanics from nurses.
DSP forced to wait 1 hour and a half for a consultant to give them a piece of paper about anxiety attacks dated from medical research in 1997.
Hospital discharged them, DSP feels like he wasted his time as his girlfriend now fiance lies drugged as fuck at home after eating fast food (lol).
DSP complains that the hospital bill will be over 1,000 dollars.

Well for one thing, DSP does nothing but sit around, he had nothing 'wasted'. For another thing, Leans has health insurance, ita unlikely he will pay a lot for this, not to mention she has a job, and will probably help pay for it. Plus he hasn't even gotten the bill yet. The major point is she collapsed at work, and said this was the worst attack she's had, and rather than show concern, it was al just a big inconvenience to him.
