BETTER RUN THROUGH THE JUNGLE

BETTER RUN THROUGH THE JUNGLE

How are you all enjoying the open beta?

>it wasnt me starts playing

Stop vote kicking me you salty scrubs

Some men, born to hold a flag

Uhm, the white one, from France

>put game on ssd
>still the twentieth person to load in

Is the gook announcer just as terrible?

And when the guy says hey there to the chief

Oh they throw the can at you

>ekko is beeng atac

>hey there to the chief

How to git gud with rpg?
Only time I hit is when a huey is landing

>/aco/ is being attack

GI GO HOME

>Foxro is bhein atac
He's honestly great.

Feels like a shitter version of RO2 so far. Guns feel weaker, movement hasn't been improved. When a team starts losing everyone team switches or abandons the game. Atmosphere seems missing entirely.

>it wasn't me
also
>name of the song
>hey there to the chief.
Stop. You can only trigger someone so much.

>they are taking dell-tah

Why is it so clunky? Feels like my guy is a fucking tank

lol at bf baby

hes a qt pi

>shit maps

Are they ever going to make a game with good maps? This whole game feels like bad company 2 rush mode.

It would be nice if people voted for something other than Hue or An Lao each and every game.

This too. Hue a shit

Fucking hell this game is unoptimised

It looks like shit and still stutters constantly

The nugget feels even better to use the in RO2, but I think it's just the new sound of the gunshot. I do miss the little extra zoom while aiming down the sights.
I thoroughly enjoying it so far. My only complaints are the pop in of textures, and having commanders that don't call arty.

>when you hear the gook commander using the radio over the wall you're leaning on
>tfw you mow him and his squad down with your m60

CuChi is my favorite map I think

what's your config mate
it runs at 120+ fps with a fx6300 and a rx480 in high

This is reminding me of why I never got into Red Orchestra

You just have to get used to the maps, after one weekend I was easily getting 40+ kills on any map.

Also

>shift steadies your weapon as well as sprints
>can't steady your weapon while moving because of this

America's army 2 got this right years ago, how do devs keep fucking this up. Hell, I'm pretty sure you could set sprint/steady to different keys in Ro2, why not this??

hes the best part about the game honestly

>have game on a slow ass "green" drive
>2 second loading times

dont buy amd next time kiddo

bait

>steady your weapon while moving
what did he mean by this

It's a great map unless you're on a shit-tier Yank team who fail to capture A.

>commander calls arty/napalm right on Point A
>nukes the half the team and fucks up a cap
>doesn't get a Spooky going behind the lines to thin out reinforcements

THERE'S STILL NO PROPER COLLISION FOR WEAPONS AND HALF OF MY SHOTS ARE FIRING INTO MY COVER RATHER THAN OVER IT DESPITE THE FACT THAT MY GUN IS CLEARLY ONTOP OF IT

FUCKING RO2 AND RS MANAGED THIS SO HOW CAN IT NOT BE PRESENT IN RS2?

two gripes with this game/

>the performance is all over the place
>Easy Anti Cheat needs to be removed

idk how twi manage to make a ue3 game run so poorly on modern hardware. at least it's not as bad as RO2, but it still surprises me that they cannot get this right when games like the ut reboot runs at max settings

yeah that happened to me as well. really odd how the game lacks this sort of attention to detail when ostfront had none of these issues

idk why but twi have just become increasingly incompetent developers

>human's can't exhale while walking

ok nerds

you get used to it and can work around it

>he has a shit pc
>he cheats at video games
like clockwork. bet you're a third worlder too.

Game still crashes every 40 minutes or so.
The lack of swearing is still incredibly distracting-
SREW YOU CHARLIE!!
other than that it's good. If they don't fix the crashing I'll have to refund and be a sad though

I shouldn't have to work around it. It's fucking obnoxious. It's even worse with sniper rifles and MGS because they pretty much need cover and so half of your shots are fucking useless.

Again this was never a problem in the previous titles, it's fucking ridiculous that it is one one. I'm going to refund this shit if it remains.

>the lack of swearing is incredibly distracting

Yeah it's kind of unbelievable that they'll make a game where you can see people being blown into chunks and your toon will mutter about needing a joint to himself, yet they still refuse to drop an F bomb.

Swearing isn't Christian though. Napalming people and gibbing them with RPGs is cool with God, but a naughty no no word sends you straight to hell.

This kind of sucks

Those are both genuine gripes dude, the fuck is your problem? Performance dips depending on the map and EAC is bordering on rootkit shit.

Anyone remember Red orchestra 2 launch? Sounds exactly the same as that but I'm going to give it a shot

Feels like a bad mix of realism and arcadey
Doesn't really have much of a depth advantage over something like BF, but plays much worse
Not my cup of tea

you obv don't care about the rookit since you installed it already

I only knew about the rootkit after i've installed the game but nice try, shitter. if I didn't care then why do I want it removed? Get outta here, shit for brains, stop wasting my time.

>realise I have a tripwire
>place in little container spot to the side of the objective and leave
>minute later effortlessly bag myself 4 yanks
Noice

you litterally have to click a button to confirm installing it. the 'rootkit' works just like every other anticheat thats not complete shit so unless you want every 13 year old to have hacks then you just have to deal with it.

What settings are you playing on? I have solid 60 at medium on my shit tier 870m

BF1 is more enjoyable

>tfw when last match was on exactly that

The anti-cheat doesn't run unless you start the game right?

GO HOME GI

>Install EAC thinking it was like PB
>it's a rootkit
>"lol dood, just deal with it and let the devs have access to your PC

RO2 and RS1 worked fine without EAC, shill, git cucked

yeah and it only search the memory used by the game process
>rootkit
by definition it's not because it not trying to hide itself.

Yeah, fuck this.

Just like the other Red Orchestra games it's great in theory and miserable in practive.

fuck the poeple who told me this game is a improved red orchestra 2 lol
this game is the same fucking game with reskins lol
fucking kill yourselves shills

I really wanted to enjoy it, but it's as frustrating as RS1 for me.

The only matches I won was when I was in a server with everyone on mic.

Otherwise it was spawn, walk 20 cm and get headshotted by someone you couldn't see simulator.

Is this one of those games you need friends to play with?

I think it's a game where you need autism over realism.

>snipes you from 150m away

Game is great but they really need to fix this

You can help by using a mic yourself and talking to your team. Even one person with a mic providing intel is a huge boon for a team

That glorious feeling when you finally find a GOOD pilot, you and him racking over 35 kills both.

Nuking the zones with rockets, I've never enjoyed it more in a game.

>but plays much worse
Couldn't be more wrong. Battlefield has a completely different pacing to RS2. Weapons in this game behave like weapons in real life do - meaning that even a single bullet is enough to stop you in your tracks and force you to bandage yourself or kill you, if you're unlucky. This encourages tactical and methodical behavior from each individual player, which in turn creates combat encounters that mimic actual war a lot better than Battlefield ever could with it's gimped weapons.

Battlefield is just too videogamey to deliver the warfare fantasy to the extent that Any RO or RS games do.

you should read up on "Delusional disorder"

He's right but thanks for showing everyone in the thread you don't know what you're talking about

Fuck me this game is bad
its not even realistic dont even know what there trying to achieve with this game

what's up with the sudden influx of Tripwire shills shilling this crappy game
it's starting to get annoying

The first 30 minutes of play were hell for me. I couldn't tell what the fuck was going on or where bullets were coming from. You have to give your eyes time to adjust to the color scheme of the game so that you can begin to pick out enemies in the distance

Nice argument, bud.

lmoa at all these bf shills get the fuck out

BF also has tiny ttk, not much difference there. The only difference in terms of pacing are: first:less MS and less objectives to spawn on, meaing that it'll take longer on average to get into the action because your SL isn't always alive and you can't run between cover as easily; and second: no dorito spotting, which makes target acquisition much harder

There scared there game will be dead on release just like red orchestra was dead on release

Hey it could be worse. At least there are no Squad shills shilling their abysmal game

>A game comes out on open testing
>People actually play it and want to discuss the game

SHILLS SHILLS EVERYWHERE

>we a loss fosstro

Played it, it's bad. Started with RO mod for UT2K4, this isn't RO.

whats bad about it?

>snipers require leading targets at 10m
>bad hitreg turning gunfights into clownshows
>punjisticks and tripwires often times don't do anything when people run through them
>smoke grenades launched from the m79 won't deploy a smokescreen if they hit anything but the ground making them worthless for smoking off enemy positions in buildings and bunkers
Those are my biggest complaints so far.
I really hope they fix the hitreg soon but I've been hearing that this is a problem since the first beta.

please, there's like 6k people playing
a fucking open-beta and only that much people playing
your game is shit, go shill somewhere else

Everyone has automatic weapons

Feels arcadey, and way too loose/whispy in movement. I dunno, it doesn't feel like RO.

I was more talking about the gameplay feel, as in movement, shooting, using equipment and so on. This manages to feel worse than the 7 year old BFBC2:Vietnam in that regard, and that game doesn't even have diagonal sprinting or vaulting. This feels like it actually tries in that regard, but failed horribly. Now you could argue that these flaws are offset by the depth provided by the game, but I'm not really seeing those depth advantages. Rather go for something like PR or Squad instead if you want to go in that direction, instead of this half-assed mix

Charlie came in and he caught me red-handed
setting up a live claymore
picture this we were both frustrated
fighting out this pointless war
how could I forget
that I had given up my LMG
all this time he was standing there
he never took his slanty eyes off me

Don't you have some neptunium thread to be self-bumping, stupid weeb. At least post what you dislike about the game if you want proper discussion, but I have a feeling you haven't even played it

>BF also has tiny ttk
Only if you're comparing them at close combat. Battlefield weapons at long range suck, unless they're specifically meant to be used at long range. In RO-like games you can die from a single mg bullet at 100m.

I only have 8 GB of RAM and I can only play this game for short periods of time. By about the 20 minute mark, >95% of my RAM is being used up and I either get repeated warnings that force the game to minimalize, or the game just crashes outright.

Even Squad doesn't use as much RAM as this. What gives?

Yes, I know I should upgrade

It's a memory leak. It'l be fixed eventually.
probably

Missing the point user im not getting scammed again like i did with ro2.
>invisible walls everywhere
>clunky as shit
>maps are tiny
>helicopters on tiny maps why?
>headshot someone hear a ping sound from 150 meters away
>supposed to be a realism game

Its just a mash up of cod and bf and a very low quality and budget one at that
its fucking trash

>30 fps in a gtx 1070 cause i have i5 6500
im not enjoying it

Memory leak. Probably a good idea to make sure your ram is dual channeled or get more.

Depends on which BF game you're talking about. BF1 sure, because the classes has been specifically designed to be effective at different ranges for the most part. However, BF1 is notorious for having rifles that every class can access and that can nuke you in the fraction of a second from 150m away due to obscene accuracy when tap taping

>However, BF1 is notorious
Messed up, talking about BF4 here

Yeah, I can agree that the gameplay feels clunky as fuck, but that's just a matter of getting used to it. I'm biased in this regard because I've played quite a lot of the previous games, which were equally clunky.
