what are some games where winning really means losing it all
What are some games where winning really means losing it all
oh hey i forgot that was today
how was the last episode?
Theresia Dear Emile
10/10 fantastic
Awful
Horribly paced, the reunion with Scotsman was ass, and the ending was a copypaste of Gurenn Laggan
link me to the episode fampai
I HAD TO FALL
Rushed, but everyone saw that coming
A lot of parts were lackluster, but the cliches were nice, and it didn't at least feel like complete trash. just "Yeah, that was alright I guess"
could have had a far worse send off, I at least enjoyed it.
It was acceptable. I did not dislike it. There were good moments best was dat stone mecha fucking up Aku and it was alright.
Not worthy
>TFW haven't had TV in a while cause fuckers won't fix the problem on their end
Link me up.
It was everything I wanted in an SJ ending, but it felt rushed.. it was like cramming a movie length's worth of content into a 22 minute episode.
Still, it was good.
Stolen from Gurren Laggan/10
just go to Sup Forums sticky and ctrl f 'mega'
I didn't know they were only doing one season that kind of sucks. I haven't watched any yet.
What the fuck? They took one of the most iconic GL scenes and just ripped it off?
Final Fantasy XV...
>Sup Forums sticky
There is no sticky on Sup Forums.
It was pretty good. Was obviously rushed, but Aku and Genndy fucking Jack one last time was fun. Solid 8/10
Nevermind, found it when I sorted by reply count.
Did Gurren Laggan invent the concept of marriage or something? I'm not seeing much similarity between the images.
>this is the last "what are some games about the latest episode of samurai jack" thread
Praise the stars. Your faggotry meeted its end, OP.
Okay, here we go.
>Main character's love interest is actually a spawn of the big baddy
>Gets her body taken over and covered in a black suit, controlled by her maker
>Her maker uses her as a pawn to try preventing main character from saving the world
>Main character has to kill her creator, even knowing that she can't exist without him
>After big bad dies, main character throws a wedding with love interest
>Except in this, it's actually known and explained that she will die and that she was holding on with all of her energy JUST for the wedding
>She vanishes from existence during the wedding
It was executed MUCH better in Gurren Lagann. It definitely feels like a poor ripoff.
Ashi dies?
As someone ignorant to both series, how are these shots even remotely similar other than that they portray a wedding?
No, Sup Forumsmblr is just assblasted about the ending. There have been plenty of media that has ended like this
Here.
The bride ceases existence in Gurren
>meeted
It's met, friend
>show hs wedding scene
>hur dur its copied from this obscure weebshit anime!
It's worth it, give it a watch. And yes, it was always supposed to be a 10 episode season and that's it.
I would've preferred a normal 10 episode season and then a proper movie ending, but you cant have everything I guess.
both comic and series finale is the best even if the comic wasn't canon
...
enhance
I don't watch Jack but GL ended with the MC's love interest not being able to exist after the big bad was defeated because she was an extension of it. They get married and she fades away right there.
Here you fucking retard.
>obscure anime
>fucking Gainax
It's a cult series done by a company that has rides in Universal Studios, you cockmongler.
Did Jack go back or nah?
Yes.
Where are some games where they force in a bittersweet ending for literally no reason?
>"I was made by Aku and if will not exist now that he's defeated in the past"
>"But won't that mean that I'll also never have come back to the past? Which means we'll be forced into an infinite loop of both defeating aku and not defeating aku?"
>"I have aku's power now, your logic is overruled, time for me to fade away. peace out bitches."
fantastic. Thanks user
Underrated post
>Jack goes into the past
>Undos the future that is Aku
>That include Ashi, his hell spawn
Rules of Time Travel 101. Multiverse theory be damned!
Shhh, weebs think anime invented everything first, they also think the japanese have the best idea for everything they make, they also think the japanese don't rip off anything because they always come up with the idea first but someone rips it off from them first.
So do weebs think anime invented marriage.... of course.
"Also I can grab the magic anti-aku blade with my aku shadow hand."
"Also I know exactly where to go into the past despite having no knowledge about it and having just magically dues exd my powers into existence no less than 10 seconds ago."
The logic doesn't even make sense. If she'd never existed then he wouldn't remember her...
Here, family guy aspie
It's hard to take anything you said with any shred of respect since you posted a family guy webm. Doesn't help it has nothing to do with what you're talking about
He did.
Mad man finally got back to the past and wrecked Aku.
