A traced silhouette is still a traced silhouette. The fact that it's no longer the original artwork doesn't change that.
If I rip the sprites of a Mario or Street Fighter or whatever and make Mario blue and Ryu green, it may not be the "original" artwork, but it's still not my artwork.
