James has a lot of problems with pronunciations. Hell he made a whole video about it as the Bullshit Man. Part of it is just a shitty New Jersey dialect but it goes beyond that, like how he just doesn't understand how to pronounce "review" at all. He completely misunderstands the meaning of the word.

His earlier stuff tends to be really good, newer stuff is hit and miss. Also check out Board James.

Unlike Nostalgia Critic, AVGN actually has charm because James Rolfe genuinely cares about how he made his videos, especially his earlier stuff. Nostalgia Critic just tried to bandwagon off of the AVGN fame by targeting old movies, and while some of his stuff was good, most of it could be hit and miss, especially his really early stuff, and every episode that came out after the movie. Sure, James might not have the same magic he used to have, but he at least tries, and it's not just some phony set like Jontron and Nostalgia Critic got. That Power Rangers episode was pretty funny.
