It doesnt have the same depth as previous tekkens and from what we've seen with SF, it could turn out to be complete shit. This being said, Tekken is still miles ahead in terms of difficult so maybe it'll be difficult to spot.

Vanilla T6 was received so poorly. TTT2 was so good but the community found it too difficult.

It's hard to tell. I think it could do poorly but not as poorly as SFV did, relative to any iteration of SF4. In that alone, we can be thankful.

Just a tip for people looking to practice combos before the game comes out, there's a Tekken 6 PSP mod that mimics Tekken 7's move properties and combo system as best as possible. I've been transcribing combos from arcade videos, trying them in TTT2, they don't work and they work perfectly in the mod.
