You can only post in this thread if your favourite game is a non-standard choice

Then we rate each other's tastes

bump

You can't self-bump your special snowflake circlejerk thread retard.

your comment makes no sense, but that's typical Sup Forums

Great taste OP. I know Sup Forums usually shit on FFTA but I also loved this game.

Define non-standard

Sorry OP

A niche game, or, if it's a popular series, an unusual choice for that series. Like having your fav Zelda be Spirit Tracks

I do notice Sup Forums shitting on the series, and especially A2. It's a shame, really.

Megaman Zero is also pretty underrated, most people only talk about the original games or the X ones

God, Adele broke that game.

I havent played Persona so I dont know why older players hate 3 and 4, so you're good

>You can only post in this thread if you are a contrarian faggot

>hivemind-fag
I bet you think the best GTA is San Andreas.

Well so do I but still

...

come the fuck at me

too far

tactics ogre is non-standard, only patricians know of it

how hard is it?
if i'm retarded and couldnt get past 6th mission in ff:t is there hope i can finish this game

This thread is fucking hilarious

>play it like for 15 hours straight
>suddenly stop
>remember all those jobs to switch and fear to change and fuck up
>fear of failing in the long run
>drop it and start Crash 2
I ashamed of myself.

engagements in to are a lot slower and more gruelling than fft

In fft I remember just going balls to the wall and shoving whatever weapon my class had hard and fast into the nearest enemy and repeated ad infinitum

In TO though I found I had to actually bother learning how to create space and keep my healers and ranged units behind my Knights (who create a blocking point aoe around them that enemies cant walk past). Any engagement where the enemy already starts near you and you can't get your knights between them and your squishies was fucking hell

....So yeah it's harder than FFT I guess as a tl;dr. I think the story is a lot better though, that's what kept me chugging along through it, and I liked FFTs story to begin with.

TO's job system is admittedly fucking shit

But to make up for it, all the best classes are unlocked right at the start anyways

you could probably beat the entire game with like 2 knights and a fuckton of archers in your backline

>Get new class later in the game
>Starts at level 1 while the rest of my team is higher leveled.
>Have to grind with the new class in the back with its tail between its legs doing nothing.

Sucks shit. Oh, and the crafting, but that's not too bad, just overly complicated and can't craft more than one item at a time.

But those both sound like downsides, I'd hate for all the best jobs to come early, what's there to be excited for later on?
