Around the time uniel was coming out I was choosing between it and the new Persona 4 Arena. I could only afford one and went with the latter. I pirated uniel at a later date and I didn't dislike it but I never ended up buying it. Maybe I'll go ahead and make the jump with unist.

I played it on a whim and ended up really enjoying it. too bad it was dead when I got it.

We're finally getting late[st]. So yay I suppose.

I love everything about this game's design, really gives me that "arcade in a night time, neon-lit metropolitan city" feel. Too bad it's dead and I'm shit at fighters.

No. But Late[st] will have a proper story mode for it's console version. So there you go.

There was maybe the original UNIB arcade mode but I don't think any footage of it is on Youtube. I hope Chronicle Mode will contain them.

Nanase and Hilda are the only ones I don't really "like". Hilda is just okay, Nanase just annoys me.

As far as story goes it something like this

Hyde, Waldstein, Linne form the Night Blade group, or the remnants of it. Seth and Yuzuriha are offshoots from Night Blade. Vatista lives in Hyde's house

Amnesia is the evil group led by Hilda and has Chaos in it as the head strategist. The new character Enkidu is a part of it. Gordeau was an ex-member but left to avenge one of his friends who got killed by Erika. Amensia/Hilda is usually at the end of each story mode but Gordeau and Chaos aren't connected to Hyde's story at all..

Licht Kreis is led by one of the other Rebirth characters. Orie is a squad leader which Mika and two other girls are a part of. Erika is her own solo agent and was the one who killed Gordy and Chaos' friend.

Merkava is his own solo guy, Carmine is a 3rd year at Hyde's school, Akatsuki/Eltnum are literal guest characters, Phonon and Nanase are senpai-kouhai.

Any other girl and I would think this flash of thigh wouldn't matter all that much but Orie is usually covered with her dress.

But this particular flash of thigh is pretty sexy

Wonder how they'll fit eachother in the story mode now that they're the canon rivals now with their VS. theme being hype and all.

Forgot to mention. Byakuya is own kind of guy who listens to whatever Tsukuyomi says because she reminds him of his dead/lost sister, he probably ate her because Merkava finds whatever Byakuya "is" really disturbing.

Tsukuyomi is apparently powerful as fuck but is mostly side-lined because her powers were lost after she killed a friend, or failed to saved her, I forget.

I only care about Merkava.

better get a new vs theme like cross thought exe late, the vs themes are the best.

Hyde and Seth have had a vs theme since the first version of [st]'s arcade version.

I know just saying since exe late had a vs theme for console release I am hoping this one does too.

I kind of care since I liked Melty Blood and it's the closest thing to a sequel we'll get for a looooooong time. The game plays a lot differently, but it's still fun and the soundtrack is good. Didn't buy the first version of the game since the multiplayer was already dead when it came over here and I was already playing other games, but I am looking forward to the next version comes out in the hopes that more people will be playing online. The hulk hands loli also looks pretty fun.
