Nah It's just a regular buff with benefits, you get teleports on your charge attacks and beam skills (Some, anyway.) now do the Warp Kamehameha thing.
Maybe a few other changes too.
People are still complaining that they get the most transformations though, even though all the transformations are basically the same.

Its pretty god awful still...you get alot more characters to choose from, but ultimately its still the exact same story as 1 along with the exact same characters, and the exact same PQs.
Also if you played 1 your character transfers over and becomes part of the storylineno you cant play them even though they're physically in the game and you get to keep some armor moves and most of the zeni
