there's something I always thought odd.
Why do subtanks only restore half their capacity in ZSNES?
any other emulator handles them just fine, what gives?
>Not using Higan in 2017

Why do the menus in Chrono Trigger make a different noise every time you move the cursor? Why do monster screeches sound like a dying cat's meow? Because ZSNES is so shit that it's just a meme to pretend to like it anymore.
Thanks shitman
ZSNES is very very old.
It's essentially the Internet Explorer 7.3 of emulators.
The only thing it has going for it is the Godlike Aesthetics.
thanks
I never knew about this
Now I want to test it
Whats the best snes emulator?

There is practically no difference between ZSNES and Snes9x.

For one, the barrels in DKC2 arent broken in Snes9x.
zsnes only made sense when you had less than 32mb of ram and an S3virge video card
...
How are they broken in DKC2?
bsnes
wait what
>not using retroarch with hardcore mode enabled, which universally disables all emulation advantages like speedup and save states
oddly enough some japanese mario world hacks works better in zsnes.
Utterly uncontrollable. Which makes a level full of them late in the game a lot more harder than it needs to be.
Low response time. Nevermind that it could probably run on some Cyrix or National Semiconductor piece of junk.
I always thought this was normal. But then, I *bought* the copy of MMX1 that I originally played on my Pentium 1, and I can't say I noted the difference between those two.
