No. Nintendo's recent poll of switch owners showed a strong male majority. For traditional console gaming, adult males are still the dominant consumer. This is the crowd the industry needs to cater to in order to be successful from a purely business perspective. There is room for more diversity and variety in gaming, but it is not going to be the focus. If you want developers to cater to women, you need to incentivize them by showing this crowd is a viable consumer base to target. So far, the majority of attempts to penetrate this market have been unsuccessful on consoles. Or just make the games you want yourself.
