Game could've been very good. Game turned out not very good. Lazily slapped together like one of those battle royale games.

The beta was fun, but the full game still has all the awkward clunkiness of said beta but now at $40 with only three maps which all have the same houses, etc.

All i want from this is a single player campaign i don't care about the multiplayer. Didn't they say they'd make one when is that happening? I'll get it then.

Since it only lets you teleport when people can't see you and is in a much smaller, controlled environment I'd have to say yes.

I was excited for it. But I was also smart enough to wait for the initial wave of reviews/player bitching.

Is what's stopped me from buying it. That and having to wait for a match to end if you want xp even though you are dead. Fuck spectating for 15 minutes if I had shit luck.

It's a weird problem dealing with the teleporting because the map is so large and Jason is so fucking slow. It's really awkward and you basically have to teleport grab people because so much of the game is just calling the cops/waiting out the timer and Jason has too much work to do chasing people down without it. You can throw knives but aiming ingame is so akward and terrible, and traps can help but are a problem all on their own with being able to just set them in front of objectives.

Basically a lot of shit feels not well thought out and you can't fix it without redoing the game's mechanics.

What if they change it so that Jason cannot teleport to where the survivor camera is pointing at so it doesnt look silly when he teleports? You never see him teleport and It would make it more movie like.

This game is pretty fun desu.

I don't like this game, but that video is a horribly articulated mess who gets hung up on the game being a game more than it focuses on any of this games very large amount of real problems. I can only assume the reason it keeps getting posted here is that it's your own video.

Not him, but you could add mutators and modifiers to spice it up. Randomly get used during the mode.
Traitor counselor.
Change up teleport.
Powerup a character for a time (becomes a main character).
Specific tasks with large xp payouts.
And so on.

To be fair the devs are pretty cool, yes they are a bit clueless, but they are constantly responding to the community from twitter to the steam forums.
They specifically said they won't cater to streamers, and won't implement rankings or esports garbage.
They will also keep Jason OP.

One map with minor variations. Buildings are all cut n paste, the forest is the forest, you don't get anything new out of playing different maps.
