Eh, I don't like it either, honestly. As someone who finds the Galactic Civil War ships less interesting than the Clone Wars ships, I was hoping for more nods to those designs.

The Venator was massively superior to the ISD and the Empire was retarded for not developing on it.

Not him, but the battle scenes were well executed and the third act was magnificent.

Venator was like 300 or more meters smaller and pretty sure that has less firepower, I love it more than ISDs tho.

The cinematography and the action scenes are good, but the plot and characters are such devoid of importances that I couldn't cared even if I tried.

Krennic is also unnecessary. It should be just Tarkin.

What the hell made it boring to you?
Most people actually complained about the pacing being too fast.
It had the best goddamn space battle in the entire series and gave Vader an actual threatening scene.

The characters and story were a little weak but I honestly don't see anyone praising any particular movie on the story itself.
