Did something go wrong? I haven't really been watching too much anymore.
I guess he probably isn't doing TF2 too much these days.

He's quit TF2 entirely and it's been over a year since he posted on his main channel.
All he does now is stream ranked Overwatch and get angry, then has his editor throw together stream highlight videos once a week or so for him.

Valve stopped giving a fuck about TF2 and fans gave up on it, him included.

Their dynamic is still so good on the rare occasion they do stuff together but they almost never do. It's sad.
Jerma is the perfect foil to star's angry gamer schtick, and it turns out Jerma works just fine on his own but star doesn't.

Jerma kept breaking promises with star_ when it came to then playing games and dnd together so I guess there's some bitterness

Him and Jerma stopped making fun videos and he became a dull ass streamer. The best parts of his videos was either his commentaries or the relatively sporadic editing which made it a fun quick watch. Jerma is doing perfectly fine as a streamer as he still retains what made him hilarious except this time in the span of 4 hours instead of 14 minutes

I don't see them having any chemistry together whatsoever, it's just awkward when she's on stream because she's too edgy compared to Jerma.

Jerma just does things for fun and I love him for it.
Even when he gets mad he's still one moment away from laughter again. No idea how he does it.

That's what I mean. I have no idea how they ended up together when they're such opposites.
It's almost sad to watch because she gives him a ton of shit but he rarely gives it back, which isn't the sign of an equal relationship.

If you watch some of star_'s streams he occasionally brings up jerma always being late to something. Jerma was also replaced by poke in their dnd sessions with arcadum and surefore since jerma can't keep his promises apparently.

So was star ever actually GOOD in comp TF2 or was he just a meme youtuber? Like, what was the highest he ever got?

It was pretty sad when ster thought he had a glimmer of hope of playing OW with jerma when the custom games where introduced.

The guy is a living straight man, he can't survive without a foil.

He played and discussed TF2 for years, got bored of it after it went to shit, then moved to Overwatch.
He use to care a lot about his content quality but now he's just kinda happy with uploading slightly edited stream clips. You can tell by the way he talks now he doesn't give a shit about anything anymore.

Knowing Star_ hates TF2 now makes me a little sad, he was the first Youtuber I ever actively followed, I liked his voice and he played really well.
At least Mr. Paladin has a really nice output when it comes to videos, I try to watch his videos to go to sleep but I always end up getting really into watching him play.

The tribes and tf2 streams are definitely the best content he had since the skyrim permadeath streams

I hope soon, I had to stop watching the stream once it became The Kim Show (also some Jerma). Also Jerma is getting hit by the mindless positivity cancer that cultivates an absolutely awful fanbase. I like that ster calls me a piece of shit and spits in my mouth, keeps me honest.

Speaking strictly about 'skill', he spent the other day playing with Ronnie and Arcadum and pretty much dominating every match. That's gotta be demoralizing when Ster singlehandedly kills everyone on the opposite team by himself while you lag behind him with 3000+ people watching you look like shit in comparison.

Thing is I think he cares too MUCH about his content quality. He's said a few times he's not happy just pumping out a commentary video anymore.
He wants to do shit like Sweet Genius and Finn, but they take so long to make, and in particular Finn got copyright claimed the second it went up and he made no money from like two weeks of work.

He basically sees his second channel as dumping ground where he doesn't have to try as hard, yet he uses the excuse of "stop complaining that I don't make videos anymore, I still make videos, they're just on my second channel."
If he were legit okay with what his content has become, he'd put it on his main channel, but he knows it sucks because he's not trying in the slightest.

He despises his fans. Yeah, every content creator has dumbass fans. Jerma has plenty of them too, but star spends so much time focusing on how much better he thinks he is than everyone else that it's all he talks about.
He has never, ever seemed glad that people are watching him or that he has a chat to interact with. He's pretentious as fuck just because he's good at two very specific first person shooters.

Pretty sure all he wants to do in life is play ranked Overwatch and Jerma's not interested in playing ranked every day, because he wants to actually be entertaining.

Nah star_ actually interacts with his chat a lot. He's answered a lot of my questions and I rarely go on twitch chat.

Jermas chat/interaction feels like daycare at times

Really? This is news to me. I just came in this thread wondering what star was up to these days. Could you give me an example of how angry he gets? I've never really seen him angry in his TF2 days.

Yeah what a lot of people don't get is that his complaints about that isn't "bragging" or being condescending. I hover just below grandmaster while all my other friends are about 2,000. The fact is that in a somewhat competitive game it's just really hard to have a fun serious game when there's that big of a skill difference between players. It sucks for the person with a lot of experience and it sucks for the person who hasn't played as much.

I personally don't think Star gets angry as often as people seem to think he does. It's just the Boston in him

Ster has always "buillied" Jerma. It's been a joke since he got on an extra steam account so he could kill Jerma whiles he was making a video. It's not really meanspirited and sometimes it's not funny and comes across as dickish but it's not like Jerma needs a gang of whiteknights to defend him.

to be fair, his chat has made it a game to throw as much money at him as possible. Especially at the start of his stream or during 'hype' moments. He mentioned not too long ago that he was going to try to NOT spend all stream thanking people but it IS kind of hard considering people are throwing literal hundreds of dollars at him per person per stream
