Yep. One thing I like about Far Cry is the villains but Ubisoft tends to waste them. Would have loved to side with Pagan instead of those crazy ass siblings.

I'm looking forward to seeing them make the Far Cry 5 villain sympathetic or likeable in some way.

I dont think I played any game where you get real life tricked into thinking your side is the good side, normally the game gives a hint away, but they kept Pagan totally in the dark until the end. That's about the only praise I can give FC4 is that Pagan was a great fake villian

I think they wanted to have a proper hidden ending where you can eliminate both of them and assume the role of king.

He was just doing what you told him to do, and what was best for the Dunmer before you betray him for a second time.

There is, you side with one of the two, and then you can just kill them as they walk away.

It's okay, FC4 to FC3 is what Battlefield 4 was to BF3, just a better, more polished version.

Yea, it's pretty good. If you liked 3, then 4 is a slightly better version. It feels like it's lacking "something", though. Like, it's great, but just the soul isn't there.

Valley of the Yetis is a must-play, but you might not like the other DLC (one is PvP maps and modes and the other is just a time-trial version of the north end of the map), so best bet is to get base game and Valley of the Yetis, not all DLC

I think the small town, keeping to themselves and looking out for their own angle might be pretty accepted, specially of they can demonstrate that the government at large has failed them

Troy Baker is a pretty good VA, its not his fault he's overused.

Whole game should've been about him instead of shitty Ryu.
His sections are by far the best moments in the game and his motivation for going 100% nuclear is understandable.

Villains should not be likable. If you've made your villain likable, and more likable and reasonable than those helping the protagonist, you didn't do you job.

Where's that in the rule book? The villain can be anything. The only thing which should be done, is that "this story must be the most interesting part of your protagonists life. Otherwise why are we hearing about it?"

Pagan even stated himself that you didn't listen, and because we know it's a game we didn't. We made shit hard when all you had to do was listen and wait, fucking literally. I was in awe that a game actually played me cause it used a real concept that nobody follows.

FC4 probably is the better game, but having just come off of 3, I was burnt out so I'd be surprised if I made it even half way. I also preferred the tropical setting of 3, but 4 was still absolutely gorgeous. I guess it's time to go back and try again.

Funny cause I was gonna post vaas earlier but I don't consider him the main bad guy, he's the big bad that's in your face,but the whole rakyat thing seemed to be the bigger evil at work.

I enjoyed Far Cry 3 far better. 4 gets boring after a while, plus Vaas is more fun.
