Just started playing dragon's dogma.
Which class did you end up spending most of your time as? I'm not sure whether I like strider or ranger more.

Strider
I'm addicted to spamming Brain Splitter. It's so broken.
Probably Strider or Fighter. Strider has so much mobility and damage but fighter is the most satisfying class
Strider is best for acrobatic melee and using a rusty bow to put a slow debuff on everything. Ranger is for spamming tenfold arrow
Warrior. I loved smashing the fuck out of everything i came accross.
Forgot to add. I loved Strider and Warrior, like the only 3 powers thing is a bummer and while its counter intuitive that its a largely crowd control class rather than a big monster slayer. Its pretty fun to shitwreck hordes of enemies.
Magic Archer/Assassin.
Assassin is the single most fun class in the game.
Using daggers is a crutch though, avoid that at all costs.
Which is better for close quarters?
Strider. as previously mentioned by another user, brain splitter will even shred the health off of ogres (if you land the spin on their face)
It's probably between Ranger and Warrior.
Assassin is pretty fun, so is Magic Knight. Probably the most broken two classes in the game, though in completely different ways. Ranger is also pretty broken.
Sword assassin is boring as fuck to play though. You may as well play fighter or MK if you're going sword assassin. You miss out on the most game breaking and fun abilities by using a sword.
>You miss out on the most game breaking
That was my point.
Either warrior or sorcerer.
Both are really fun in different ways. Probably warrior though, I've done easily more than 5 warrior characters.
why is your arisen becky
who
Oh right. I dunno I find killing bosses in under five seconds to be incredibly rewarding after getting your ass fucking kicked the entire game by the same bosses. I still have trouble with Living Armour though when I'm playing Assassin because I only have one magic user in my party that can do anything to them. Can't say that I have that issue when I'm MK though.
warrior and mk
Are you using a texture pack
Nah just Rudy ENB
Fuck elder ogres, and fuck wraiths.
If I'm not playing sorcerer I just fucking leave any area with wraiths. I'm not wasting my surging light tomes on the fuckers
Why is this quest so bad? Most of them died before their dialogue even finished, and that was without me helping the pawns
Assassin or magik knight
Went warrior my first playthrough and never looked back. It's undeniably one of the objectively worst classes but I can't play anything else now because it all feels like piss easy OP shit in comparison.
Fighter or mk don't have access to the bow, dire gouge or clairvoyance
I like the magic classes, but I like being a mage in general. Controlling the fabric of reality is so appealing to me.
