Every HiRez game I've ever played felt like a cheap knockoff in terms of presentation, Paladins is no different.

I've never tried overwatch, Paladins is kinda boring as the maps are small and the same with the teams. I think I'd like it if it was a bit bigger and atleast 12v12

Overwatch is a rip of TF2.

They all have their strengths. I like buying items and customizing your load out in Paladins. Mounts to get back into the fight and creates new tactics like dismounting people early to stop them from an objective.

I own both and overwatch is really fucking boring after the shiny graphics wear off. Paladins wins hands down for gameplay.

Paladins feels unpolished and frankly ratchet as fuck. I'm sick of overwatch but it's the fucking better game.

Paladins looks uglier and sounds uglier than overwatch but it plays alot better. A big reason why it actually feels fucked for new players is because you are only playing against bots until level 5. ( I had no idea until I reinstalled the game recently.) When I first played I was like; wtf this is piss easy and unbalanced weapons; but uh, bots.

Capping a center point to push a payload on either side is pretty good. Healer classes can still output damage and the game feels more like everyone can hold their own ground pretty decently and still do their side job (healing, damage, shields etc) When playing healer I can play more aggressively while still healing, and I'm not hiding all the time. Regenerating health actually isnt as big as a deal as I thought it would be.

I also find myself playing this game for fun, and not for fucking lootboxes like I do in overwatch.

TLDR; Paladins = Good Gameplay, Unpolished Appearance

Do skins really count as content? Because if they don't OW has a shitty update schedule. They've released 3 whole champions since launch, while paladins has out out like a dozen, that are also better balanced to boot.

And TF was a mod for Quake, which was a platform built on duke nukem death match, which was adopted from doom death match..

Nothing is original in FPS multiplayer games. Hell, of you want to get back to the classic argument of UT2004 VS basically everything else at the time, it was the ovetwatch of the early 2000s
