Really? When I was in Gold/Plat I noticed the main theme there was everyone were meta-slaves so there was always a carefully picked 2-2-2 comp. I usually stack in Diamond because I have fun that way.

People definitely always want 2-2-2, occasionally tri-tank, but generally don't give a shit which hero you pick unless it's Hanzo/Widow/AttackTorb. Then people complain.
Oh and people will ask for a hitscan.

But yeah, not that much meta-slaving at the hero level, just general comp level.

I got of gold on a 6-game winstreak with a Torb/Sombra main; those games were stomps. Meta did not help me out of there.

I'm not sure, but you definitely only hide during pushes where you know they have ults. I don't even always hide during pushes, but I ought to.

The thing is that in 9/10 cases I'd simply rather have a ana pocket healing me instead of mercy but, I take an experience mercy of a shitty ana any day still.
