It was the very first "Game Maker Engine" I ever used, way back in the day with RPG Maker 2003. I'm seriously nostalgic whenever I see the menus and stuff for those games.
I can't into art, but if I could, I'd honestly still use RPG Maker for development of my H-Games just because it's so fun to use.
The problem is, though, sifting through all the bullshit terrible stuff just to get to the gems. But damn, there are some gems.

H-RPG Maker games are the only place where I can find long drawn out plots featuring rich ugly old guys that the female protagonist despises stalking and hitting on her throughout the game before finally getting into a situation where he can force himself on her or put her in a position where she can't decline.
It's ruined my fap life because now doujins don't do it for me anymore because it's always so rushed and quick.

There was a shinobi game he released a few months back for C91. He was supposed to update it and make it available online but that's missed a few deadlines so who knows when that'll happen.

I'm certain that only under 100 anglosphere players tried the game or even know of its existence at all, but I'll drop its name anyway. It's called Faraway Story and it's exceptionally good.
It plays like a mix of Atelier (but w/real-time action combat) with elements of Recettear and has a storyline better than current gen AAA games. It's translated with love and care, every speck of humor and mood retained.
I could rave about this game for hours, but sounding like a shitty commercial and spoiling stuff isn't what I'm here for. Just play it, user. You'll thank me later.

I had a great time with that.
I bought it during the half-off sale at the beginning of the month but I'd say it's worth full price.
The enemies are too easy though. I never bothered to make the strongest melee weapon or stronger armor or make a single bomb the entire game, so that meant I didn't feel like as much of an alchemist as I would have liked.
Obviously going thievery and buying the best axe at the blacksmith makes it even easier but even with just your own magic you're still strong to begin with. I only ever lost to the slime boss and plant boss, and never to non-bosses.

Its been a while but Final Fantasy Endless Nova was one of my first RPG Maker games and I remember enjoying it.
Arms Devicer is a pretty neat H-RPG, mostly because the story branches wildly depending on what you do in the first town. The combat mechanics are also pretty interesting.
Exit Fate and Last Scenario are both phenomenal. Exit Fate is a very well done love letter to the Suikoden series, and Last Scenario is sort of a spoof on generic RPGs with what seems to be a standard chosen one plot that turns out to be not very standard at all, and a pretty dark storyline. Both have completely original hand-drawn art.
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure 7th Stand User has a stupid amount of well-done content, it's great.
