Is Nier better than NiOh?

Don't see people talking about either anymore

Apples and oranges

>is shit better than shit

>he can't distinguish between piles of shit
haha oh wow, go back to plebbit

They're vastly different games
Both DLCs didn't add enough for there to keep being discussion about
Nier is probably better but Nioh is still fantastic aside from the Online
Both are flawed though

Nioh was really good in the alpha but they listened to the fans, which is rule number of 1 of what not to do when making a game

the final game isn't very good & rode on the coattails of Souls

Get a new hobby, it's obvious reading posts on Sup Forums upsets you and shakes up your sensitive soul ;_;

>if you don't like bad games then video games aren't your things

what the fuck

Way of the Demon in Nioh is a blast and reminds me of beta difficulty. It just sucks that it takes forever to unlock the mode.

Both very good games but for entirely different reasons
While nioh was exceptional gameplay wise, the story was just serviceable.
Automata is almost the inverse of nioh with ok to good gameplay and an amazing story.
Id personally recommend nier over nioh but both are definitely worth playing

>amazing story

If you're 16, sure

nioh is good if you enjoy games where the same enemy is reused 90% of the game

>he stopped after chapter a
Your loss buddy

In terms of video games stories, it's very good.

BotW is better than both.

>making assumptions about how much someone else played

No, it's just painfully obvious that you'd have to be relatively young to find Nier's shallow attempt to explore its themes fascinating.

It's really not, if you like open world survival PC games, it's great, but if you want a good Zelda game, then it's shit

step in line whyte boi

I didn't really like either, Niers combat is too shallow and you can see every plot twist coming a mile away. Nioh only has like 5 enemy types and it gets boring after 20 hours of the same shit.

...

>less than 30 critic reviews
That kind of score doesn't count my man. It needs more reviews for that. If this game would be reviewed by the same amount of "critics" as BOTW or at least GTA IV, the score would drop to low 80s.
Even then, the game is a solid 6/10 for a Zelda game, and a solid 4/10 for an actual game.

breath of ubisoft btfo

>the story was just servicable
The story on paper is decent
The story in game and in cutscenes is godawful. Dialogue is cliche and childish, characters are one dimensional, everything is rushed and the whole thing feels like a badly translated kid's anime.
But yeah the gameplay is fucking top notch though.

What Zelda game is the closest to a 10/10 in your opinion?

The second one on the NES. The Adventure of Link. I'm still salty for not being able to defeat Shadow/Dark Link without cheesing it.
