Why would I pre-order Guilty Gear?

I mean, that's probably technically true but the eighth gen is far from over so it's still a "current" generation. Gen 8 and 9 are overlapping more than ever but even with that, I have a feeling that this will be the last clearly defined console generation.

With Scorpio and PS4 Pro, I think we'll be looking at hardware revisions and upgrades more than passing the torch to a new gen of systems.

This, basically. I don't mind character DLC as much so long as the base roster is nice and satisfying but game modes should not be DLC.

As far as I know they haven't specified. They've said there will be DLC modes but not what they are.
