Every fighting game is like that in my experience. I find lots of games suffer it worse simply because they're so bland in comparison. It least with GG if I get bored, I can swap to a different character and experience the game much differently than if I were to change characters in SFV or TTT2 for example. Not to say they're bad, it's just my experience with it.
