Hunter's Axe, overall. I love all the weapons in the game, except the rifle spear (it's just so boring), but the Hunter's Axe is just so god damn perfect.

I don't think it has a single bad attack in it's incredibly versatile moveset. To top it all off it has crazy good regain per hit.

Why do people trip off this weapon so much? Flat out it's the highest base strength damage weapon and it's versatile enough to take on just about everything in the game, I mean yeah I get tired of using it too but it cuts everything like butter.

This. The weapon has such a fucking high damage rating, and you can actually hit pieces of shit tall bosses like Amygdala with the tricked L2.

So they can hit you even if you dodge out of what you think is normal range.

Highest strength weapon would be the Rifle Spear though. That shit does tonnes of damage with the hold R2 and has rane to boot.

It is obscene amounts of fun. Even the untricked mace form beats asses and lawnmower mode makes health bars evaporate. I love the stupid thing.

Last two characters I made were a grandpa and a grandma. Both old farts and it kinda stuck with me. Male is ARC/STR and female is DEX/BLT.
Still haven't made a character that can properly use Bloodletter even though it's pretty cool
