Juna is for annexing.
JunaxKurt OTP confirmed
Rean will headpat both of them, I guarantee it.
Reminder that Crossbell never ever and Cold Steel 3 is being localized by NISA
Calvard when?
>ass and face both face the camera
how?? HOW??
Renne had a hard life.
finish chapter 3 yet?
Reminder that NISA or Aksys will steal Sen III and Calvard as well as all future Kiseki titles and that XSEED will immediately license and announce Crossbell as damage control.
Nah, haven't started playing again yet today.
Fair enough
Get to it soon user, I want to see your sheer hype and pretend I'm experiencing it again
I fucked up. I listened to Crossbell and Sen OSTs on repeat for about about three months non-stop and now I'm going to have to play on mute because I can't stand hearing the songs anymore. A partial memory wipe would be nice.
>tfw I abstained from listening to Crossbell's soundtrack until I started playing Zero
Second best decision I ever made. Behind learning Japanese, of course.
sounds like you're retarded m8
Have you pre-ordered her game?
Once I beat Zero and Ao, yeah I will.
will wait 4 reviews
when I can pre-order the english version, yes I will
What kind of shit-taste retard unironically uses reviews to decide which games to buy? I can't imagine being this braindead.
a wise person who played sen 1 on release
Newfags are so uppity these days
The chest belt is a real miracle. Bless the designer who thought of the idea.
When will we get our costumary pre-E3 XSEED announcements?
Daily reminder that localization woes can be cured by learning Japanese.
Either later this week or early next week. If nothing else we'll start getting teasers by the end of this week.
...
learning moon is barely worth it anymore
there are so many localizers these days that quite literally even the more obscure stuff is getting english releases
chaos;child, summon night 6, on a lesser note, steins;gate 0 and even god damn utawarerumono 2 and 3, baldr sky and dies irae
nothing is safe from being localized anymore, it's barely worth it all the effort just to play shit on release
if you're learning it for japanese games and you're not autistic to care about quality of translations that much (over the effort of learning a whole language anyway) its not worth it
t. moonspeaking fag who learned moon long time ago
What is the best piece of music in the series and why is it Afternoon in Crossbell?
youtube.com
some nostalgia my man
Possibly related question: when did hatsuu list that "????" project on her twitter?
>start playing the first trails game
>pick hard difficulty
>wipe out once in the prologue
>get some quests and leave town
>run around for 5 seconds and a mob out of nowhere manages to attack from behind
>only beat it because I had s-break charged up
>one character dead, other one at 30 hp
>run back to town
Fuck me, is it supposed to be this hard?
Should I have bought some gear first?
How do I revive someone who is KOd without using the revive item?
All the field themes in Zero are fucking perfect. How did they do it?
Trails in the Sky isn't really balanced for Hard mode your first playthrough.
Maybe some other Falcom PC game? Zwei! maybe?
>Ao no kiseki
More like Asscrack no kiseki
Option A) Learn moon.
B) Wait for fan translation of crossbell (lol)
C) Wait for translation glasses in 2020
I'm thinking C is the fastest
I started learning moon a little less than 2 years ago, if you try hard enough you can play it by then.
June's E3 will be the deciding factor. I'm hoping they at least say they have intentions of localising.
Do I have to grind on hard or something?
I'm all for comfy tracks, but I've never really grown out of liking fast-paced boss themes most. Formidable Enemy is probably my favourite boss theme of all time. I like Fateful Confrontation and Belief almost just as much (the last one is more of a guilty pleasure and because it's the easiest to play out of the three).
youtube.com
the answer is obvious, why even ask
>all this Crossbell talk
>anons debating learning moonrunes to play them
>anons that already LEARNED Japanese to play them that are now currently doing so
>all this music
xseed save us
Reminder that Tio and Laura will end up sperging out about Mishy if they meet in Sen III.
I'm looking forward to it.
I want a scene where Fie and Shirley meet up. Falcom pls.
So Crossbell localization announcement at e3?
Why is brooding guy x cheerful girl the perfect chemistry for romance?
Pretty fucking salty right now 2bh
Had the final boss of 3rd down less than halfway and everything was looking good, that is until I decided to let him get an attack in and it turned out to be one that wipes out my entire party
Laura only picked Mishy because Rean didn't let her grab Dogi.
Iktf, Akatsuki played the Crossbell songs so much that I mute the game audio completely
>On the Green Road EVO
why
I used to prefer the original too, but evo's version of it really grew on me
there's also youtube.com
Fair enough, all versions of it are great.
Seriously though, how the fuck did they nail Zero's soundtrack so hard?
ITT we predict what Zero teasers might be like
"This next game was quite the barrier to get over." with a picture of a cop car.
perfect
"We've been waiting a while to cross this next game off our to-do list. Maybe it's name will ring a bell?"
What the fuck was her problem?
>actually expecting Crossbell to get announced at E3
just setting yourself for dissapointment, desu
Regardless of whether or not it happens around E3, there is more reason for optimism regarding Zero than there is for pessimism. You can only say "never ever" and be proven wrong so many times before people stop believing it.
In this case, I 100% believe and expect it to happen. I can be proven wrong, but so far they've localized every other game. There's no reason not to be optimistic.
trails of the lolis.
I love how all the lolis have really fucked up childhoods except for Tita.
>living with bitch mcbitchmother
yeah i'm sure she'd take the rape dungeons if she had the option
>Renovations on the Grancel branch are going smoothly
>Elnan's on vacation in Titith Bay...his boat disappears in a freak storm
>Now Schera has to dispose of Kurt and she can run the Guild in Liberl
We'll always have the fan patch coming if XSEED hasn't jumped on this.
Pure skill
loli Estelle is best daughterfu
I'm pretty sure most of the skepticism stems from realizing that there's a limit to charity. Personally, I can't imagine the 3rd was ever seen by XSEED as a salvageable localization project in terms of profit from the very start. I'd love to be proven wrong about this.
While Crossbell arc can be enjoyed as a standalone two-game series, it looks like tits, has a name reminiscent of tits and therefore they may feel like there's but a single option - to market the game towards those people who played tits. We've learned exactly how big this market is by looking at SC's/3rd's sales.
If they actually take up localizing two more War and Peace-sized games, the latter of which is guaranteed to sell disgustingly bad, after all the horrors they've been through with tits... I just don't know, user. You'd be able to make a religion out of this.
FC alone likely brought in enough profit to cover the entire cost of localizing all three Sky games, if not more than that - and more seems likely to me. The majority of SC's sales have come at the $30 price point, they haven't gone on sale for anywhere close to what FC has in the past, and obviously the same goes for 3rd, which hasn't even been out a month yet. Even if you assume SC never sales another copy, if you assume they never put it on sale for something like 10 bucks, it's obvious that SC could not possibly have costed them more to localize than it brought in. Then you add in whatever 3rd ends up making, and 3rd was likely the cheapest of them all to do.
You say there's a limit to charity, but I would argue it's not charity at all. Xseed wouldn't have localized 3rd for charity. They did it for profit. Charity was releasing a PSP version of SC. They didn't do that for 3rd.
Zero at the very least is a direct continuation of the 3rd in terms of storyline since it resolves rennes plot. Ao on the other hand is more closely related to cold steel, but both games have audiences in players of the games that have already been brought over.
But considering the time and effort required, the only way I see it happening is by them making a simple internal emulation of the PSP games, purchase the fan translation of zero and start Ao's right away, finishing it right around the end of the year before CSIII can get started. Otherwise, it doesn't seem feasable.
Not to harm your point, but Crossbell isn't nearly as standalone as Cold Steel. It very much relies on knowledge from Trails in the Sky, and Estelle and Joshua are major characters in the story.
Reminder that Agate is a sex offender
The editor for Coldsteel says he's been working on an unannounced project all year. So they will reveal CS3 at E3 and will surprise us with an earlier-than-expected release date.
Is it not the PC version of CS and CS II? That just got announced recently.
Didn't Cold Steel and Cold Steel II have different editors? What if one's working on Zero and one's on Azure?
Honestly i would restart on Normal. Hard mode in Sky is legit HARD.
Should shop Tio or Lloyd as cop here
Do you know what an editor is, user?
The PC ports of Cold Steel don't need an editor. The translation is already fully done because they already did it for the original console versions. No translation work is needed for those games.
>Letting the final boss attack
>Not using your mountain of zeram capsules on Richard and spamming Sakura Morning Moon S-Craft
>Abusing Kitchard
Can it be even called playing the game?
It's called a strat
So what's the most efficient way to level in Akatsuki? Once you're past 40 it gets so fucking slow.
This is an EOP board
well, you are force to use kevin, is pretty much the same, honestly the boss was just garbage, it was like last phase angel weissman but worse, it was either use items to be inmune to shit like faint and be easy as fuck, or don't use it and get the 4 characters fainted with 1 melee attack. I don't think it even changed his attacks when it changed elements to time or space and the 2 adds die with 1 phantom raid.
What can we do to make Sup Forums a hospitable place for EOP to talk about trails after CS3 releases in Japan?
Do the daily quest that has you going to the 15 AP dungeon to kill 9 of a certain monsters
You get both team exp for clearing dungeon and exp for finishing the quest. Check the dungeon section of this wiki to see which dungeon you should do that spawn that monster as boss.
akatuki.swiki.jp
Fags are going to be spoiling it the minute it comes out in Japan. I'd just leave the threads and pray xseed releases it in a timely manner.
Stay off Falcom threads everywhere.
Some cuck straight out spoiled Tokyo Xanadu when someone brought the game up in a /m/ Cold Steel thread. You cant escape jerks like those anywhere online. Just like the Fallout 4 and Force Awaken spoilerfags
It's a proven scientific fact that spoilers make you enjoy stories more, so it's best to just embrace it.
pages.ucsd.edu
>Participants (176 male, 643 female)
This only proves spoilers make women enjoy stories more, which I don't doubt given other irrational behavior
One four-page paper doesn't really "prove scientifically" anything.
Plus, I highly doubt this is a brush that you can just paint everything with. I know for a fact that if I had been spoiled on Sky FC's ending, for example, I never would've liked it as much as I actually did. When I finished FC, I didn't even know there WAS a second game, so everything about the twist was a surprise to me. Knowing about it in advance would definitely have taken away some of that.
Are you pulling my leg here? Did you not know what FC stood for? Did you not wonder at all over the course of the game what those two letters might have stood for?
It was never called "Trails in the Sky FC" in english, and I wasn't browsing Falcom threads on the internet at the time. At the time, it was just "Trails in the Sky" to me.
I played FC years ago before it really had a following here on Sup Forums.
I don't think spoilers will be that bad 2bh
I always browsed trails threads on here before Cold Steel came out and I don't recall being spoiled on anything really.
Hey guys it's Alex
Who's the best thicctriss of Trails?
Cause Cold Steel was too stupid to be spoiled
Do you want me to spoil it?
Crow is Officer Doofy from Scary Movie.
The big reveal in Ao is much better if you experience it for yourself since the question of the twiest is introduced to you from the very first cutscene of Zero
>used to spoil japanese games all the time when I was younger
>UCSD does a research that spoilers increase enjoyment
>mfw I'm an UCSD alumni
Weird world we live in
Do you end up taking Cast 2 with you to the end game?
Is there a Cast 3?
The only time I ever recall seeing a Cast 3 was some ancient quartz from SC that was named something other than "cast 3"
