DEMPSHEY ROLLU

what news do video games get?
anything worthwhile like release dates google

Word of mouth, which is why i'm always 3-4 months behind until I see the news in my Youtube recommended despite not watching anything videogame related.

Also better Boxing Boy coming through

[/spoiler] I remember

Sup Forums itself allows me to stay up to date. Anything else is too cancerous for me to endure... think gaming journalism sites with their camel case headers.

Shills from Sup Forums

Nice Gurren Lagann reference

NeoGaf and Reddit

Real answer -

If you just want industry news and stuff about releases, follow allgamesdelta.net

All the news, none of the politics bullshit.

They used to be allgamesbeta, if you remember them.

ReviewTechUSA

Personally I use Lewd Gamer, Siliconera, and Niche Gamer.

Didn't some kind of drama unfold with those lads a year ago or so?

Games.ch

How can people watch that moron?
It's literally like having your news filtered through somebody with downs syndrome

I used to use Silliconera until it turned into indie city and started to spew opinions.

Sadly based Gematsu is succumbing to the same fate.

I just went in 10 pages deep into Siliconera and I haven't seen a single opinion piece. All the articles are mostly announcements of games and/or release dates. Haven't seen that many indie games either, although there's a lot of Japanese games.

Here, prove me wrong.

Hmm, possibly. It may have been something to do with their old domain. They're back up and running now though. Pretty quick on updates on Twitter.

i dont

where can I catch up on updated Ippo? I left off where he got heem'd by 2nd best taco mixer in the world.

This.

i read on manga stream. a few chapters come up every few weeks so I assume its up to date.

Sup Forums mostly
only other places I even consider checking are Niche Gamer and the Easy Allies Podcast

I don't give af about vidya news

When ever I get an itch for a certain type of game, I just look it up

If I feel like playing tower defense, then I go to google and search for tower defense

Youtube. GameCross, gameranx, CultofMush (great at pointing me to quality games for sale).

IGN and GameSpot for news. Polygon for reviews. Sup Forums and /r/games for discussion.

You would be somewhere around here then

As for the topic, I get my news from Sup Forums, though I tend to be skeptical without sources

Gamer's Post.

Sup Forums for news, because you guys complain about anything that appears so I can get news from everywhere and I can determine the falacity of them at my own leisure.

Reviews are done by myself after playing the game. Trusting online reviews has always been a mistake.

Discussion is done over skype or discord.

Sup Forums and r/games

The only thing needed

Glad to see a reasonable person here

/r/games is a good news ticker if nothing else
Sup Forums usually shitposts about the biggest news of the moment
gamasutra is cool if you actually care about game development in any capacity

That makes two of us, then. Appreciate it.
Sup Forums isn't so bad at times, but the times when it is good have become too few in recent years.

Mostly agreeable, with the exception that I like to chat shit in person, not over Skype/Discord.

>Sup Forums isn't so bad at times, but the times when it is good have become too few in recent years.
Also agreed, unfortunately. Niche threads remain as great as they used to be but Sup Forums as a whole has massively decreased over the past few years.

Be the change you want to see in Sup Forums, others will follow you. You just need to be persistent, good discussion comes eventually

I do like to talk in person but it's hard to be with people more than once a week when everyone is busy. Hence skype/discord.

Finding a good thread now is like finding a gem.

It's impossible unless more people with the same mindset are present in the same thread. If not, simply ignore the shitposting and the thread.
